Here's our favorite cookie recipe. It makes tons of cookies and the dough can be frozen. You can also half the recipe or quarter it. 1 lb. butter softened to room temperature 3 lb creamy peanut butter (6 1/2 cups) 2 lb brown sugar (5 cups) 4 cups white sugar 1 tbsp. corn syrup 8 tsp. baking soda 1 dozen eggs 1 package chocolate chips "big bag" like Costco size or about 3 regular size bags 18 cups Oat Meal (old fashioned) 1 bag coconut Mix butter and peanut butter together. Then add remaining ingredients in order. Use 1/4 cup scoop, roll into balls then flatten on greased cookie sheet leaving room to spread. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Then cool 1 minute. Remove from pan. I place mine on a cooling rack, but you can use brown paper bags to set them on. You can add raisins, nuts or seeds what ever you want. |
