I had the strangest dream!

I had the strangest dream last night that I woke up suddenly after being punched in the eye! In my dream dh turned the light and to check me out and said he was sorry for hitting me in his dream. Then I went back to sleep.

This morning I woke up with a slightly blackened eye!!!!! My eye is sore so I asked dh if it was a dream? He said no!!!!

He was having a weird dream that he was a boxer, and the next thing he knew was that I was crying out, then he woke up.

So if you see me anytime soon, please don't phone the domestic violence helpline or anything! It is simply a case of overactive dreams in our house! (Though I'm considering wearing a protective mask to bed tonight just in case! LOL!) Now, where is my makeup???

I hope your eye is okay. My hubby has had some very active dreams - and elbowed me in the cheek once.

Ouch Deeds! That had to hurt. I've been reading back a few posts, and I could just see you all crumpled up on the floor when your buddies left. I'm so sorry that was so tough on you. You know...I do that with my sister who only lives 2 hours away. I cry every time she leaves!

I don't remember if I ever thanked you for your baby sleeping advice. If not - thank you!!! He's still not sleeping well, but I haven't tried very hard either. Life with three is just overwhelming right now. Maybe once school starts and we get back on a normal schedule, I'll be able to feel more in control!

Hope that eye is better. I'm trying to catch up on posting comments & emails...still sooooo far behind!

I'm glad you had a nice visit, though I know it's hard to say good-bye. I really understand that!!! I had a dear friend once who came home from a missions trip and announced she was in love. Next thing I knew she got married & moved across the globe with this guy! Then every time she comes to visit, either my DD or I am in quarantine. Ahhhh...life. ;-)

Hope today is better...& tell your DH I said good job on the chocolate!!!

That has to be the strangest thing I've read all week! Good thing it wasn't a TKO (total knockout!) I'm so sorry that happened. As if you weren't busy enough! I'll bet your dh feels awful about it (he'd better!!) Is it sunny enough for dark glasses? Speaking of glasses, I'm wearing "loaner" glasses while my new lenses are being orderd. These temporary glasses have gems in the corners, reminding me of my mom's cat-eye glasses when I was a kid. Anyway, I'll be praying for you. I'm sorry you had to deal with being homesick - I get that way about my mom, I miss her and have only seen her a few times in the last 16 years. I hope you have some fun times mixed in with all the busy/crazy ones. Take care, my friend!
