I know I mentioned this trip we took for a weekend at Legoland last month, and I know I promised pictures. So, here are the pictures and thanks for your patience!

Just in case there was any confusion about which Legoland we went to. Here is a picture of Queen Elisabeth made entirely out of lego - even the frame!

Then you have to have a couple of famous English landmarks - like the tower bridge.

....Buckingham Palace....

....and the changing of the guard at St. James palace. These little guys actually 'marched' around in formation! It was sooo cute! I got it on video, but I'm not clever enough to be able to get a video on here yet!

Then they switched continents on us! At least my boys could name two of these faces and they knew that Mt Rushmore was in America! They didn't know that it was called 'Mt Rushmore' but I was pleased anyway that they weren't totally lacking in some American knowledge! LOL!

We hopped on the train and found ourselves jumping continents again. This time we were on an African safari! These animals are all life size and look so realistic!

Yes, even the giraffes were life size!

These wolves were in an exploration to the artic circle and they looked HUNGRY!

And just look who we found lounging around while we explored the arctic!

One of the boys' favourite areas is the castle! And what castle would be complete without a daring knight defending it from a fire breathing dragon?

There were 'paintings' like this all over the park. All made out of lego - AMAZING!!

Even the ice cream looked good enough to eat! LOL!
We all had a great time! It was great to do it over two days so we didn't feel so rushed to see everything. Surprisingly (and sadly) Sunday was almost twice as busy as Saturday was! I had expected it to be the other way around, so we were a little surprised at the crowds on Sunday, but it was still tolerable.
We were glad we had booked this little break. We booked it after Superfudge left, since we thought the boys needed a treat after all the difficulties. We actually booked to take Pumpkin with us, but as it was he was moved just a couple of days before we went. So it was even nicer to have a treat since we were all missing him!
We seriously contemplated a season pass - we love legoland that much! However it is just a little too far away to make it worth it. If we were under two hours I think we would have done it! But 3 1/2 -4 hours is just too long to do frequently! We have gone to Legoland three times now over the years, and I can assure you this won't be our last visit either!
