This will be quick because it is 11pm and I'm shattered! I know I've kind of gone AWOL the past week or so, so I'll give you a brief rundown on where I've been and where I will be while I go AWOL for a few more days.
-Thanks for the continued prayer for Steven. He is off most of the meds and only needs some strong ones at night before he goes to bed.
-He was very impressed with the Chiropractor and we will be going back soon for his first appointment. This was the first medical person who tried to figure out WHY his back went like that! The rest just filled him up with drugs and sent him home.
-We have decided to expand my homeschool selling business to encompass more than just MUS. This is a HUGE undertaking and we are trying to sort all the details before the bi-annual homeschooling conference here in England at the end of next month. (more on the business news when the details are sorted!)
-We are doing respite for a six year old girl and her 2 year old brother who arrived on Tuesday and leave late afternoon next Wednesday. They are a handfull but it is fun having a little girl around the house! To top that - she looks just like I did at that age!!! I mean- close enough to be my daughter!!
-England decided to have a summer this week! LOL! It doesn't happen often so we are making the most of it. Sunshine, warm weather, no rain......we actually set up the swimming pool in the garden last night!
-Our church is running a holiday club (VBS) this Wed, Thur, and Fri. I found out about this on Saturday!!! And ended up doing most of the crafts too (actually I volunteered since our Pastor was up to his eyeballs). That ends tomorrow morning.
So, all in all, we are fine. Life is slightly crazier than usual, but enjoyable. I was just aware that I had kind of vanished and didn't want anyone to worry needlessly! Thanks for all the kind friends who have been popping in to check on me. I'll be back when the kids leave, or it rains, or I get caught up on sleep - whichever happens first! |
