***Warning! Very large rant to follow***

I have been a very looooong standing customer of Ben and Jerry's ice cream. They are one of only two brands of ice cream that I will even buy! Well, as of today I will never again buy Ben and Jerry's ice cream again!!!

   I just read my newsletter from thier 'Cool Club' of which I have been a member for a couple of years now. On the newsletter was lots of news about new products coming out and events going on.

   Today's newsletter contained the following piece of news.

At Ben & Jerry’s, we’ve always been both extremely proud of our Vermont roots, and firm believers in equality. And so it is with enormooos pride that we greet the news that the State of Vermont has passed a law allowing loving couples of all kinds the freedom to be legally married.

To celebrate this momentous event, our Vermont colleagues have renamed one of our US ice cream flavours: Chubby Hubby will be served as Hubby Hubby in Vermont all this month. We believe everyone should be able to say, “I love moo,” in public and would like to state that one of the prides of Vermont is proud of Vermont! N-ice one!

   They have also changed the cover to show two men standing on top of a wedding cake together.

   While I have no hatred towards people who choose this 'lifestyle' I do feel very strongly about it and feel that it is against God's design and laws.

   I have a VERY BIG problem with a company using ice cream to promote this agenda!!!! I have written to the company and told them in uncertain terms that I will never buy their product again and that I will tell everyone I know about this as well.

   So, if you feel the same and ever even buy Ben and Jerry's, I would ask you to join in this ban of their product so we can hit them where it hurts - in their tills!!!!!
