Part 12

Hey Everyone! Here's the next part of the story.

Mika almost fainted when she heard her mothers words. Why was the bad man trying to do if he had the picture? What was he planning?

The driver choked on his coffee he had taken a drink of. "What are you talking about?" He grabbed the laptop. His eyes opened wide as he read the name. "There must be a different Jack Tanner!"
Mika's mother took the laptop again and made another tab on the internet. She clicked on people search and searched all the Jack Tanners. "Okay." she drummed her fingers on the laptop. "A-hah! I found it, three Jack Tanners. One a 34 year old male. Two, Jack Tanner, 6 years old, lives in North Dakota, and one more, 103, died 15 years ago."
Nik grunted, he grabbed the laptop once again and pulled out his cell phone.
"Yeah, boss. What's going on? Why did you buy the painting and then come and get this lady and her stupid family? We're wasting time!"
Nik slammed the phone down. "Okay, we're leaving, we're dumping them, this is a waste of time!" The van started and zipped off. The were soon on a dirt road, the van stopped, and Nik got out, so did Jay. As soon as both of the doors shut Zack, and Mika's father jumped into the front seats, luckily the keys were still in the ignition, her father turned on the car and stepped on the gas as the van door was opening. Mika and her mother backed away as they struggled to climb inside the van, Mika knew she had to do something. She stepped hard on Jay's trembling fingers, hard! He yelled and dropped off the van, she started stomping on Niks. Her mother caught on and did likewise, soon Nik fell off of the van and was left in the dirt. Mika and her mom shut the van door. They had finally escaped! But now what were they to do?

Hope you all like the story!

Part 11

Hey Everyone! Sorry it took so long to post this story!

Mika was singing to herself when the van suddenly came to a stop, she was thrust forward on top of her sleeping mother.
"Okay, this is where we are gonna stay until the boss catches up." one of their captors, Nik said.
Mika wanted to ask how they were gonna find the painting in the middle of nowhere, but decided it was better to keep her mouth shut, but as she was thinking those very thoughts, her mother said, "How are we possibly going to find my painting in the middle of a dessert?"
"Simple lady." Nik shoved a laptop computer onto her lap, as another was behind her untying her binded hands. "If you try anything..." the other man, Jay, looked at Mika, "lets just say, dont try anthing."
Her mother nodded, rubbed her wrists, and started typing on the small keyboard.

Mika woke up with a start, realizing they had started driving again. Her mother was still tapping away on the computer, her eyes seemed bloodshot as if she had been staring at the screen for days in the dim light the computer screen put off.
She looked around, Zack was sitting up and looking over their mom's shoulder. She tried hard to spot her father in the fading light, but it was difficult. She finally spotted him in the darkest corner, his eyelids were shut, so she assumed he was asleep.
Just then her mother squealed in triumph. "I found it! It wasn't in the originals buyers name, Jessica Norman, instead the new buyers name is..." she hesitated, "Jack Tanner as of November last year! That's your boss!"

There you go, sorry it's really short, but I want it to be suspencefull.

Part Two of the Fairy Story

Hey Everyone! Here's Part Two of the Fairy Story, next time I blog I'll post the other one. So, for those who haven't read the first part of the Fairy Story, scroll down and read that one first. Please tell me what you think. I hope you like my story!

Erika looked down at the clothing she had put on. She stepped out of the door to show Star how she looked in her new fairy-like clothing.
“You look marvelous.” Star cried, clapping her hands. Erika wasn’t so sure. She didn’t particularly like how the bluebell flower skirt fit her, and the leaf for a top wasn’t exactly what she would call her cup of tea.
“Um…..thank you.” Erika said, glancing down at her feet, they were bare. She didn’t know what Star had done with her fuzzy light purple slippers she had been wearing. Nor her ankle socks.
“Your welcome. But now we must go, Leilani has decided to meet you at her palace to tell you your mission.”
“What mission, and sometime earlier you told me I had a great destiny, what is going on, I’m not even sure I know what I’m doing here.” Erika looked around the room she was in, it was a pink interior, she assumed that was the inside of the flower. She wondered though, how the fairies got the paintings onto the wall, did they use berry juices? Perhaps.
Star nodded understandingly. “We need your help, you aren’t just an ordinary girl, you were meant for great things.”
    “What type of great things?”
“Many, I am not allowed to speak of them here, only in front of Leilani.” Star beckoned Erika to follow her out of the flower. “Grab my hand.” Erika did as she was told, and together they started flying through Trillium.

They were above the waterfall, and Erika was gazing at it when she heard a fluttering beside her. She looked up to see a large beautiful butterfly flapping it’s wings in beat with Stars.
    “Hello miss.” the butterfly said.
Erika was startled. Had the butterfly actually spoken to her? Yes, it must have. She didn’t know what to say. “Hello, butterfly.”
The butterfly giggled. “My name is Azura of the Blue Sky.”
“Pleased to meet you Azura of the Blue Sky. My name is Erika, if I remember correctly it means Ever Powerful, so I suppose I am Erika the Ever Powerful.”
Azura twitched her antennas. “Indeed.” Then, to Star. “Is she the one? The one you have searched for.”
    “Yes Azura, she is.”
Azura started flying in circles around them, making small peeping noises. She was quivering all over when she ended her spasm.
Erika couldn’t help but hold her hand over her mouth to stifle a laugh.
“Oh, my! Oh, my!” she kept gasping.

Star let out a quiet laugh, making sure that Azura did not overhear.
“When are you taking her to Leilani?” she asked.
“Right now as a matter of fact.” Star said, they were hovering over some flowers now.
“Oh, so you are in a great hurry! Terribly sorry to waste any time. Please stop at the Crystal Waters if you have a moment.” Azura flew down to the waterfall.
“Is the Crystal Waters that big waterfall?” Erika asked Star.
“That it is. Come now, we must hasten.” Star began to fly at a faster rate.

    *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Leilani smiled as Star and Erika flew into the room. Candles lit up the room brilliantly. The interior walls, unlike the room Erika had been in previously were a purplish-blue. Again, paintings were on the wall, but not like in a frame, just literally painted on the wall. Erika was gazing at the artwork when Leilani interrupted her.
“Welcome!” she exclaimed, grabbing Erika’s hand. It was cold and sweaty. “Now, now, no need to worry or be frightened. I’m just here to help you. Here, let’s sit.”
Erika sat upon a flower, much shaped like a chair. It held her up, not as she had expected it to sag of perhaps break under her wait.
“The Cowslip is a very strong flower, not even to say a thing about the beauty.” Leilani told them.  “Fruit?” she asked, holding up a large platter filled with grapes, strawberries, blackberries, cherries, raspberries, loganberries, currants, and some pale greenish colored berries Erika did not recognize.
“I don’t, do you Erika?“ Star said, smiling at Erika.
“Sure.” Erika took a cherry and bit into it. “So…….Star told me I had to come see because I have some big great destiny and you need me for a mission or something.” Erika said, looking at Leilani.
“Of course.” Leilani smiled. “You see, Kali the Dark One has gotten stronger over the past few decades. And we need your help. All over, even now in the sacred fields of flowers there are Assassin Roaches everywhere, they will attack you if Kali sends them.”
“But, they’re just bugs, we can squish them! You don’t need me!” Erika said.
“You forget, we are bug the same size of the Assassin bugs, yet we have no claw like teeth to use against them, only what we have with us.” Leilani explained calmly.
“Oh yeah.” Erika said. Being small was depressing. She was so glad she was not the same size as big bugs at home. “Well that’s dumb, make weapons, keep them away from you!”

“We’ve tried that before. Yet now we realize that we must not kill her followers, but Kali herself, then we will live in peace.” Leilani said.
“Well, why do you need me?” When Leilani did not answer and only stare at Erika, she had a sinking feeling in her stomach.

Well, again leave comments on if you want me to keep posting this one or just keep posting the other!

Another Story..........

Hey Everyone! Don't worry, I'll still be posting the other story, but I really wanted to post this one 2! Please tell me if you think it's good or bad. (And please tell me the truth.)

Chapter 1

Erika loved the rain. She was sitting on a cushion watching the drops of rain beating against the glass of the bay window. She heard a slight knock behind her and turned to see her grandma standing in the doorway.
“I brought you some hot chocolate. Maybe it will warm you up on this cold, dreary day.” She gave Erika a large mug.
“Oh, I adore the rain.” Erika took a sip of cocoa.
“Do you?” her grandma asked, surprised. “Well, then I suppose you don’t need any cocoa then.”
“I can always use hot chocolate though.” Erika set her hot mug on the end table next to the window. She was glad her grandma wasn’t the same as most grandmas’. She didn’t mind if you put your cup on a table without a coaster beneath it. She always said, “Memories will last longer than those tables anyway, so why not have fun with them, besides, I don’t care to be fussy.”
“Well, I’m going to go make supper, enjoy your cocoa.” her grandma walked out the door.
“ Thanks grandma.” Erika called. She looked around her room. Every time she came to visit her grandparents she stayed in that room. She liked it because it had the large bay window and there was a beautiful picture in it. It was of a fairy sitting upon a large purple flower slightly looking down at her hands laid on her lap. She wore a bluebell flower for a skirt, and attached to it was a leaf covering her chest.  She had straight brown hair that was pulled up in the front, and hung down her back. She almost looked as if she were crying, yet she wasn’t. You could slightly see raindrops in the background. It was so magnificent she always felt like the fairy was real.
Erika closed her eyes, she had that fluttery feeling in her stomach. The feeling you get when you drop on a roller coaster. When she opened her eyes, she stared at the painting. She shut her eyes again. She couldn’t have seen what she had thought she had seen. She slowly opened her eyes, and her heart skipped.

The fairy had looked up, and was watching Erika. Then she lifted a hand and gestured Erika towards her.
Erika tried to resist coming to the fairy, but some force pulled her. She was in front on the fairy. She watched as the fairy reached out and her hand emerged from the painting. Without even thinking, she grabbed the fairy’s hand, and was pulled inside the picture.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Erika shut her eyes tight. She didn’t want to know what was happening, when she heard nothing, she slowly opened her eyes, maybe it had all been a hallucination.
When Erika opened her eyes, the fairy was sitting on her flower looking intently at her.
    “Who…who are you?” Erika asked.
“My name? Oh, my name, yes.  My name is Star.” she fairy fluttered her wings and landed softly near Erika. “and yours?”
    “Erika.”
    “Yes, of course, Erika.”
“What happened?” Erika looked around, there was a light drizzle, just like in the painting. A small patch of large purple flowers like the one the fairy had been sitting on were spread here and there.
“I used my magic to pull you here.” Star said.
    “Magic?”
“Yes, every fairy has magic. Have you never read the stories of fairies?”
“Well, yeah, but it’s not like they’re real, just fake, fairy tales.” Erika said.
“Precisely.” Star said, smiling. “They are fairy tales, tales of fairies.”
Erika only nodded. She wondered if this was all some remarkable dream and at any moment she would wake.
    “Come, we need you.”
“Wait, what?” Erika asked. “Who’s we, and what do you need from me, I’m just some boring girl 15 year old girl.”
“That’s what you think. You have your grandmothers blood, you have an amazing destiny.”

    Star walked over to Erika.
“Take my hand.” She grabbed Erika’s hand and they were soon floating above the field of flowers.
“Where are we going?” Erika asked looking down.
“I am taking you to the Anther in Trillium. It’s not safe to speak here, there are always  assassins around, even in such a beautiful place.”
Erika gasped when she heard the word assassin. They were flying higher and higher. Yet still they were only as high as the underbrush.
“Are we small, or are the plants just big?” Erika asked.
“Well, it depends on who you ask.” Star laughed. “To us, we’re the perfect size, to small things, like bugs and such, we’re quite big, but compared to foxes and such, we’re very small, yes.”
    “Oh.” Erika looked around.

    “Here we are.” Star said.
Erika looked up, she had been concentrating on all the things down below passing by. There was a beautiful flower ahead, as large as a mansion. It gave off a glowing light. There were all sorts of fairies flying about, in and out of the flower, sitting on leaves for benches, little fairies were chasing butterflies. It was breathtaking.
    “Oh.” Erika inhaled the splendor.
    “Isn’t it?” Star asked.
“Yes.” Erika said, realizing there were no words for what she saw, it was just……to amazing to describe in words.

Star flew to the top of the flower where you could see over it, there were thousands more of the same flowers spread all over with the same glowing light. There was a large waterfall in the middle of the city. The water glistened as it flowed. It was so clear, it looked sweet. It made Erika’s mouth turn dry.
“Trillium. Named after these beautiful flowers.” Star looked about. “I grew up here.”
“How old are you?” Erika asked.
“My age is unimportant now, come, let’s go.” Star led Erika into the pollen bud on the top of the flower, it was much bigger inside than it looked. There was a water lily floating on water in the middle of the room, and a gorgeous female fairy sat upon it, with a male fairy on each side of her.
“Mistress, I have found her.” Star said, taking a small bow.
The fairy lifted her eyebrows. “This is the granddaughter of Lily?”
Erika realized that was her grandma’s name. But she wasn’t sure if she was supposed to speak.
    Star nudged her.
“Oh, yes I am. My grandmother is Lily.” Erika also took a slight bow.
The fairy nodded. She flew off her throne.
“My name is Leilani, after the Heavenly Flower. Welcome to Trillium, young one.” She smiled and her wings spread wide, the were large wings with a sparkle in them. Erika knew she must be the queen.
    “My name is Erika.”
“So your name means Ever Powerful, does it not?” Leilani inquired, nodding her head.
“I don’t know, I never bothered to look it up.” Erika said, hoping it was an acceptable answer.
“Yes, well, that’s all right.” Leilani smiled. “Star, will you go get her changed into different clothes please.”
Erika looked down, she was still wearing her jeans and t-shirt she had been wearing before.
“Of course.” Star grabbed Erika’s hand and flew out of the throne room.

Part Ten

Hello Everyone! Here is part ten:

Mika awoke to the van slowing down, she yawned and tried to look around, her father was sitting upright, looking about him in a groggy way, like he always was before he had his coffee in the mornings. Her mother was struffling to sit up with her hands bound, and Zack was waking up.
Mika eventually sat up and was out of breath when she did. She looked around her, the van was a normal van with the seats removed, the carpet was covered with food wrappers and dirt. She tried to remember how long it had been since she last ate. Zack was lying on his back staring at the ceiling.
"I thought it was all a bad dream, and when I went to sleep everything would be the same." he said quietly.
Mika sighed, she wished it had been a bad dream. She crawled over to her mom on her knees.
"What's going to happen?" she asked.
    "I don't know."
Mika listened hard to see if she could hear anything. She heard a lot of cars passing by, they must be near a highway. Then she heard a sound of rushing liquid near the back of the car. A gas station! Of course, why hadn't she thought of that before? She listened for the men who had been inside the van.
"You stay here, I'll go get some food and drinks. I'm starved."
"Okay, hey dude, get some for them, I bet they're hungry, and the boss wont want them to starve to death before they find the picture."
"Yeah, you're right, I'll be right back."
Mika sighed, she wondered what food the guy would bring them, probably nothing good.
"I wonder where we're going." Zack said, still lying on his back staring at the ceiling.
"I don't know, maybe to their secret hideout." Mika said, thinking about all those movies she had seen, but never thought it would ever happen to her.
"Don't be dumb, that's only in the movies, probably to some random hotels." Zack said, answering his own question.
Just as soon as the gas stopped pumping the men were in the car and the were on they're way once again. The man in the passenger's seat handed them each a slice of pound cake and a coke.
Mika's mother with a bit of bravery spoke up. "Couldn't you have found anything a little healthier for growing children?"
"Sorry lady, but we have a strict no health food diet." the man said with a chuckle.
The other man howled with laughter as Mika's mom reluctantly bit into the pound cake, remarking something about her figure under her breath.
Mika saw Zack roll his eyes as he took a sip of coke. She had to smile to see her family acting a little normal again, even under the circumstances.

Well, I hope you guys are enjoying my story. And I thought I might as well tell you why it always takes so long to post: I make the story up as I go, so it takes quite a while to think up the next part, well, again, I hope you enjoy reading the story as much as I enjoy writing it. (Which is a lot by the way!) Please tell me what you think! Write l8r!

Part Nine (Sorry it took forever to post it!)

Mika tried to stay awake on the couch, but she knew she couldn't, sleep was overcoming her. Just as soon as she was about to drift off into sleep, she heard police sirens! She sat straight up, the family's captivators heard it too.
"Hey boss! There's a cop pulling up!" The man who poked her father with his gun yelled into the kitchen.
"Stop yelling at me, and there can't be, you're just paranoid!" Jack yelled at him.
"No boss, I'm serious, the cop just got out of the car!" The man's voice was shaking, "You said we wouldn't get caught!"
"We won't, get them out of the living room and into the car! Now!" Jack made Mika's mom come into the living room with them, and then they were huddled out the back door and into gusty winds where there was a big van with a door open waiting for them. THey were shoved in and they drove off.
Mika cried silently on her mothers shoulder, she was so frightened, and many things were rushing through her mind, "What if they killed them? Would she ever see Ronni again? What if they were taking them far away in the middle of nowhere and killed them? Would the bad guys ever get caught?" She was getting more scared thinking these thoughts, but for some reason, she couldn't get them out of her head. Her mom was stroking her head, trying to calm her. Mika was tired, so very tired................
When Mika woke up they were still driving, but the men up front were arguing about something.
"NO, he said to keep driving and he'd be a couple cars behind, don't worry!"
"I doubt it, he probably thought we were being followed, and ditched us so he wouldn't get caught with them, just us!"
"Boss wouldn't do that, he wants that money, more than he even wants the painting."
"Whatever, I still say he ditched us."
Then it was quiet. Mika looked around the van, she tried to sit up, but she fell back down on a bump, then she realized her hands had been tied when she was asleep. She looked around laying on her back, everyone else was asleep, she was comforted on how peaceful her family looked, and then the smooth ride lulled her to sleep again.

To be continued..........

Please tell me what you think of it so far, is it good enough to go on, or is it sort of boring, please post your comments!

Part 8

Hello again, so sorry I haven't posted in a long long long time, but here's the next part of the story:

Mika was watching her dad try to talk to the man.

"Uh, mister, do you feel this it truly right?" he asked.

"Shut up and sit still." the man said, poking her father with the tip of the gun.

Her father flinched.

Mika scowled at the man, how dare he poke her father with a gun, let alone to tell him to shut up.

"Don't you dare tell my dad to shut up!" Mika yelled at the man, she was very upset.

"Excuse me young lady, but do you want to be shot?" the man asked.

"No, but I don't want you to tell my dad to shut up, or poke him with your stupid gun." Mika said.

"To bad, deal with it young lady." the man told her, with a hideous glower on his face.

Mika had to shudder, she tried to disappear into the couch.

"What are you doing in here young man?" one of the sidekicks asked Zack, who had just exited the email, right before he walked in.

"Just checking on how the search is coming." Zack said, and walked back into the living room.

Mika sighed a big sigh of relief as she saw Zack walk in. "Did it work?" she whispered to him as he sat down next to him

"Yeah, but I was waiting for replies, but I didn't get any."

Mika sighed, maybe their plan wasn't going to work after all.

To be continued...

Part 7

Mika's father was whispering a plan to Mika and Zack.
"Mika, pretend you have to use the restroom, and as you pass the hall cordless phone, grab it, lock yourself in the bathroom, and call 911."
Mika nodded.
"Zack, you pretend that your going to check how the search on the computer is coming along, but email everyone asking for help, I'll  try and talk to these helpers, see if they'll see our side. Okay, and, Mika, go."
Mika got up and stretched, and caught the attention of one of the helpers, that had just walked in the room.
"Where do you think you're going little lady?" he asked, drawing out his gun.
"I have to go to the bathroom, now." Mika crossed her legs and bounced up and down, putting a pitiful look on her face.
"Okay, go on." the man watched her as she walked into the hall.
she looked back and he was still watching her, she faked a trip and collided with the end table that held the phone, in the comotion she grabbed the phone and held it in her left hand.
"Hey, be careful!" the man yelled at her.
"Sorry, I tripped." Mika walked swiftly to the restroom, rubbing her right arm, pretending it was hurt. She locked the bathroom door and dialed '911'.
"911, what's the emergency?" a woman's voice asked.
"Uh, yes, me and my family are being held hostage." Mika answered into the phone.
"May I speak to one of the adults?" the woman asked.
"Lady, I just told you, we're being held hostage, I'm in the bathroom." Mika whispered.
"Okay, if this is a prank, it's not funny." the woman said.
"It's not, please, you have to help us!" Mika started to cry.
"Alright, alright, where do you live?"the woman asked.
"357 Dorlaine Road, you take highway 37 out of town and turn on Sacramento Lane, and the first left is Dorlaine Road, 357, it's at the end, close to the lake, there's no one around for at least a mile and a half." Mika whispered drastically into the phone, "please hurry."
"I'll send some officers out." the woman said.
"Thank you!" Mika hung up the phone, flushed the empty toilet, and turned on the faucet, she washed her hands, and walked out of the bathroom.
"What took you so long?" the man asked.
"I was using the restroom, do you take ever take longer than other times?" Mika asked, disgusted.
He just grunted, "Now sit back down."
Mika obeyed.
"Uh, mister, I'm gonna just go check on how the search is coming, since my mom is in the kitchen, is that okay?" Zack asked.
"Yeah, go ahead." the man sat down, it seemed he was exhausted.
Mika watched as Zack disappeared into the study, she prayed no one would catch him.

Hope you're enjoying the story so far, sorry it's taken so long to get it here.

Part 6

Mika's mother nodded her head, "Can I go to the computer to search for the owner?" she asked.
"Of course you can, and in the meantime, we'll all just make ourselves at home here." Jack said, sitting himself down in a blue recliner.
Mika's mother turned pale, "S-s-stay here?" she asked, stuttering.
"Of course, do you think we'd drive here and back to town as you just were left alone? No, we're staying here until you retrieve the picture."
"What if I can't? What if something happened to it?" Mika's mother tried to find more answers to the situation.
"Well, then it's to bad." Jack said as he took his gun and pointed it at Mika and shouted, "Bang! One down, two to go."
Mika shook with fright,  praying it was all a dream and soon she would wake from it. She didn't.
Jack's men sat down on the floor, still watching the family with a weary eye.
Mika's mother got up, "It's searching everywhere, it'll take about a few hours, maybe even five."
"Well, let's hope it takes no longer than five." Jack said.

One hour later, after Jack's men had gotten tired of watching them and went of exploring the house, and Mika's mother was in the kitchen making lunch with Jack at her side, Mika's father was making a plan...

I know this is a really short one, but I want to keep you guys in suspence, so... Stay Tuned!

P.S. Sry it took so long to write part 6!

5th part

Hey guys, thanx for all the comments, I didn't know my story was that good! Well, I know you guys are waiting for the story, so here it is.

"I've never seen you in my entire life, so you must have me mixed up with someone else." Mika's mother said matter-of-factly.
"Tut-tut-tut." the man shook his head. "Oh, you know me, you've seen me, you met me many of times, when we were younger."
"Who are you?" Mika's mom was shaking of fright.
The man sighed, "Fine, here it is quite bluntly, Jack, you know, the guy who asked you out for the prom, but you turned down for your husband."
"Oh, my gosh! Jack, what is going on? What do you want with me and my family?"
"My, my, my, aren't we bursting with questions." Jack shook his head.
"Sorry to interupt boss, but, let's get what we came for, and get outa here." said the man pointing his gun at Mika's father.
"Oh, yes, I almost forgot." Jack smiled at Mika's mother. "You know that painting you stole, and got millions for? Well, I want it back, and in my name."
"What painting? I've never stole a painting in my life! All my paintings are mine, and original."
"Now,  we both know very well what you did, so let's be done with this quick and fast."
"The only one of my paintings I have is the one I have in our hall, and well, the one I'm painting, but that doesn't count." Mika's mom had puzzlement written all over her face.
"Well, I'm reffering to 'Sunset Beach', my painting that you stole."
"I didn't steal that painting!" Her mother excalimed, putting her hand to her mouth, "and we both know that."
"No, you stole it, and you will do what ever is possible to get it back, and transfer it to my name."
"I will do nothing of the sort!"
"Of course you will."said Jack laughing a sinister laugh.
"I can't, I sold it." Mika's mom sounded triumphant.
Jack sighed, "You wouldn't think that I just waltzed in here and demanded the picture out of the blue do you? It took months of planning, you have records, and you will get it back, or else."
"Or else what?" Mika's mom demanded.
Jack nodded at one of his men. He grabbed Mika and put a gun to her head.
"No! No, don't!" her mother screamed. "I'll get it back, just give me some time."
"You have 74 hours." Jack said. "Or your family is gone."

4th part of the story (sorry I don't have a name for it!)

Hey all, glad you came back! And thanx for the comments, I'll keep writing.

Mika's mom ran into the living room, "What's wrong baby?" she asked.
With a shaking finger, Mika pointed to the corner, where there was a video camera hooked on the wall, going back and forth, surveying the living room.
"Oh, my gosh!" her mother exclaimed. She grabbed Mika's hand and walked into the kitchen, and sure enough, there was a video camera in one of the corners as well. Mika's mom put her hand over her mouth. "We should call your father." she walked into the living room, and picked up the phone. Mika waited, and hoped her father would pick up. "Yes, is my husband there, my name is Laura Lansbury." there was a pause, then Mika heard a woman saying something on the other line.  "Thank you!" her mother exclaimed. "Honey, there are video camera's in our house! They're surveyeing all the rooms! Yes I'm sure. Well, just the living room and the kitchen, yes, we'll check." Mika's mom held the phone away from her mouth, "Go check the other rooms." Mika ran all around the house, and then went to report her findings to her mother. "They're all around the house, mom!" Mika's voice was shaky.
"Okay, okay, you better come home, and pick up Zack at the shipment house, too. Bye, honey." her mom hung up the phone.
"There's no room without a video camera?" her mom asked.
"No, well, not the bathroom, but every other room." Mika hugged her mom, "Why are we being watched?" Mika asked.
"I don't know baby, I don't know." her mom said, stroking Mika's dark brown hair.
Let's go outside until they get here.

It was about half and hour later when Mika's dad and Zack showed up. "So lets see those videos." they all went inside the house, and Mika's father searched all the rooms. "Yep, all the rooms, not including the bathroom." her said. "Let's go down to the police station." he opened the door, there was a man standing in the doorway with a black trench coat on, covering his face, and in his hand was a small pistol.
"Get inside, you're not going anywhere." the man said, poking Mika's dad with it. As soon as Mika's family was backed up quite a bit, the man motioned, and more men came inside, all dressed in black.
"Sit on the couch." the man said, motioning again to three of the five men. They all took out guns and pointed them at a different family member. Mika sat next to her mom, clutching her arm.
The man took off the trench coat, and smiled at Mika's mother. "Hello Laura, remember me?"

I know this isn't nearly as long as some of them, but that's all I'm posting for now.

Have fun reading!

Third Part of the story

Hey everyone! Destiny here! Here's the 3rd part of the story!

Mika and Ronni were sitting on the couch talking when they heard the tiny click of the door being unlocked.
"It's just my parents." Mika reassured Ronni, who turned pale when she heard the 'click'.
"Oh, good!"
"Hey kids, we're home, sorry it was later then we thought." Mika's dad told them as the entered the living room.
"That's fine, we had a great time, and seeing as it's so late, can Ronni spend the night?" Mika asked hopefully.
"I suppose so, if it's fine with her mom." Mika's mom said.
"Yea, it's cool with her." Ronni said, smiling.
"Okay then. Where's Zack and Todd?"
"They're in Zack's room, watching T.V." Mika asnwered.
"Zack, Todd, come down here please!" Mika's mom called from the bottom of the stairs.
"K mom, be right down!" Zacks voice sounded muffled.
When Todd and Zack were sitting on the couch the, after-date routine began:
"So, how was your night?" Dad asked his opening question.
"It was fine." Zack answered his normal.
"Girls?"
"Great." Mika said. Ronni looked at her and gave her a puzzled look. She nodded her head towards the boys.
"Was it?" Mika's mom asked, concerned with the girls' 'secret talk', in which no one could understand except by those who knew.
"Well...." Mika drawled out the word, "Yes, except Zack and Todd sort of scared us, no big deal though." she smiled.
"I see." said her father, "did you get into trouble?"
Mika sighed, the same thing every night her parents went out, Todd and Ronni were probably thinking they would never come over again. It was like being on a witness stand to a murder trial that never got decided, and you had to say the same thing over and over again.
"Nope, no trouble at all." Zack and Mika said in unision.
"Really?" Mika's mom looked at Todd, then Ronni.
"Yep, sure thing." Ronni said.
"Dito." Todd nodded his head.
"Alright, the case is adjurned."
"What?!" Mika asked, "what case?"
"I said nothing about a case, I said 'alright, get ready for bed.'" Mika's mother put her hand to Mika's forehead, "are you feeling alright hon?"
"I'm fine." Mika brushed her mothers hand away.
"Okay."

Mika woke up and looked at her clock, 8:58. "Oh, my alarm didn't go off." Mika moaned.
"Good thing to, or I wouldn't killed it." Ronni said.
"How come?"
"Because it's Sunday, and there's no school." Ronni said, shrugging her shoulders, "and I don't know about you, but I'm starved."
"Yeah, I'm pretty hungry myself." Mika got out of bed and stretched. Then she opened her door and went out of her bedroom, Ronni followed.
They had cereal, and then Mika sat down to watch some T.V.
"Well, guys, we're off to work." her dad and Zack went outside, and as her dad opened the door he let in some of the drafty rainy weather.

After Ronni was picked up, and her mother was in the basement painting, Mika was just lying around when she got this strange feeling she was being watched. She shuddered and closed the blinds, but it wouldn't go away. She grabbed a blanket and cuddled under it. She turned on the T.V. and flipped through the channels, she found nothing interesting on, but she finally settled on a channel to watch "Scooby Doo 2; Monsters Unleashed".
But even though the T.V. was on, and it was sort of funny, Mika could not stop thinking someone was watching her. Her heart started to race as she thought more and more about last night, maybe someone snuck in last night and was watching her family, for what she didn't know, but she was scared. Then, for some reason she looked in the corner ceiling of the living room, and screamed.

Does this sound good or not? I'm not sure, well, PLEEZ comment and tell me what you think.
Thanx,
Destiny

Next part of the story

Hey readers, if you haven't read the first bit, just go down and read!

Mika and Ronni were sitting on the couch eating pizza, popcorn, and soda's, watching When a Stranger Calls. They were both sitting way back, each glancing behing them every once in a while. About half-way through the movie they both thought they heard the front door close gently. "Mom, Dad? Are you back so soon?"
No answer, Mika's heart was really starting to pound, "Zack if that's you, don't you try to scare us, we're watching a scary movie already." Mika's called out, again, silence.
When Mika looked over at her best friend she looked pale, almost sick.
"Was the door locked?" she mouthed, to terrified to speak.
"Yes, it has to be Zack, he's just trying to scare us."
"What if someone broke in? T-t-trying to kidnapp us?" Ronni asked.
"No one knows we're here, come on, all the lights are out." Just as Mika said this a light came on in the hall. "Okay Zack, really funny, you can come out now, we see the light." As Mika said that the light went out.
"Oh, my gosh! What are we going to do?" Ronni asked, wringing her hands, Mika looked again at her friends face, it was now white as a sheet, and Mika was sure hers was too. "We'll suprise him, we'll go scare him!" Mika whispered.
"Oh, no Mika, I can't go, and don't leave me here alone!" Ronni pleaded.
"Come on, it'll be okay." Mika tried to sound confident.
Mika got up and grabbed Ronni's hand, Ronni was squeezing so hard Mika almost couldn't feel her hand anymore.
They quietly made they're way into the hall, Mika felt along the wall for the light switch, instead she felt something furry, small, and sort of scratchy. Mika screamed and the light came on, Zack and his friend Todd were laughing hysterically, and the furry thing was Zack's little raccoon hat that he had had since he was a little boy.
"Ha! You should of seen the look on your faces!" Zack howled.
"You little, punk, you you you, I hate you!" Mika screamed at her older brother, "Don't you ever do something like that again!"
"Come on Mika, it was only a bit of fun!" Todd said.
"Oh yeah, you can talk, because you weren't the ones being scared so bad you almost peed your pants!" Ronni cried, and then she burst into tears.
"Hey, we didn't mean to scare you that bad." Zack tried to explain to Ronni.
"Oh shut up." Mika said, and pushed him away, she took Ronni's arm and led her back to the living room. They turned all the lights on in the house, and even though the boys had scared them, both of the girls begged them to watch the movie with them.
So they did.

Tune in next time for the next part of the story,
Thank you for your time,
Destiny

A little story

Please comment on my story, I have a really big plan for it l8r, so tell me if you want me to keep writing or not.

Thanx,
Destiny

Oh, and tell me the truth.

There was a knock on Mika's (pronounced Meeka) door.
"What?" Mika asked, she was putting together a 5000 peice puzzle for a project in school.
"It's mom, can I come in?" her mom's voice came through the cedar door.
"Sure."
Her mom walked in in a long black dress, with her small, flashy purse. "Well, how do I look?"
Mika looked up and scrunched her forehead, "Not much like my mom, you look a lot younger, and well, different."
"Thanks, I'll take that as a compliment." her mom smiled.
"Laura, are you ready?" Mika's dad called from the bottom of the stairs.
"Just coming!" her mom kissed her on the forehead and called as she was walking down the stairs, "If you want to call a few friends over for pizza that's fine, just don't have a party, okay?"
"Okay mom!" Mika watched out her window as her father helped her mother in the car.
As soon as they pulled away from the curb and out of sight Mika ran downstairs to the phone, she dialed the number for one of her best friends, Veronica, her mother answered the phone.
"Hi, is Ronni there?"
"Yes, just a moment." her mother said.
"Thanks." Mika said, not expecting an answer.
"Hey Mika, what's up?" Ronni asked.
"Do you want to come to my house tonight, maybe you could even spend the night, and you could stop by blockbuster and get a movie."
"Sure, just let me ask my mom."
Mika waited while Ronni asked her mother.
"That'd be awesome, see ya soon, bye!"
"Bye Ronni."

After she hung up the phone she went to the kitchen and put some popcorn in the microwave, then ordered an extra large cheese pizza so there would be leftovers for her brother when he got home later.
She couldn't wait till Ronni got to her house.
