The Serpent Beguiled Me

There. I did it.  I succumbed to the temptation of cyber-appreciation.  I promised myself I wasn’t going to do it.  Actually I am kind of embarrassed about putting a site meter on my page.  I should have gotten one of those invisible ones so that no one would know I have it, but I like instant gratification!  So much for “walking after the spirit”.  …It’s Alison’s fault. She taught me.

Personally I have embraced my counter and made it part of the family. I do have an addiction to my counter and comments, it's something I'm very open about, all that come to my blog realise my problems :) So whenever you feel bad about it, think of me and you'll feel better.

LOL, you'll get over it. :) Since HSB eliminated JavaScript, all the site meter can really tell you is how many people have visited, and their location in the world. The valuable info, like how they got to your blog, and on what page they exited, can't be seen w/o JS.

I rarely look at my site meter and counter any more. But I still get a thrill when I write an entry and people take the time to comment on it. :)
