One suggestion - blow it up and start over! lol I can say that without malice since I live in/own one! I HATE trailers! I used a venetian plaster look in my morning room. Just mix your paint color with regular joint compound till it's a consistency that you can brush on thickly. Then brush it in an 'ol direction. When it's dry, paint over it :) The wallboard in mobile homes is a nightmare. I was originally going to paint the wall. Got it all done and the paint peeled off. Should have used Kilz first. I'm going to try wallpapering the rest of the kitchen soon. Will have to send you pics.

I too wanted to know more about her philosophy. I am thinking I have the heart of Charlotte Mason but I need a more contemporary curriculum than what she presents. I am reading a book authored by Karen Andreola called "A Charlotte Mason Companion", it is personal reflections on the gentle art of learning. I am enjoying it greatly. I think it would be difficult to switch to her teaching curriculum for an older student (my boys are 13 and 16 yo) but I think you can still apply her ideas to your current teaching style and your current curriculum, which I am trying to do, as long as its a literature based curriculum.
