Tired Old Dog

We got this in an email the other day and I thought it was cute. (I can sort of relate!)

An old, tired-looking dog wandered into the yard.  I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that he had a home.
He followed me into the house, down the hall, and fell asleep in a corner.

An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out.
The next day he was back, resumed his position  in the hall, and slept for an hour.
This continued for several weeks.
Curious, I pinned a note to his collar: 'Every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap.'
The next day he arrived with a different note pinned to his collar:
'He lives in a home with ten children
-- he's trying to catch up on his sleep.
Can I come with him tomorrow?'

LOL - That is too cute!

I just LOVE your new blog topper! How creative and cute!
I also really appreciated your post below. I too feel like I'm stuck in a rut these days, and I often forget that ultimately I am not in charge of their education...God is!

Have a Blessed New Year!

No, I haven't seen them in a long time. I know they are near Jefferson City, MO. I have their phone number as he is pastoring in a town near there. I went to school with Stacey his wife.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. You asked about my evangelism blog:

http://inemmausinn.blogspot.com/

I just started it a couple of weeks ago. It is farther out in cyber space where the fish are. But boy, it can be so ugly out there. I don't have any links from my evangelism board to my homeschool board because it is kind of like street witnessing, I'm not inviting just anybody home.
