Scouts, Jello, and a Boy in a Mask (Mar. 7) Friday, March 7, 2008 To open today's entry, here are two random photos of Ryan from today... Making jello for J week -
"I'm ready to go to fencing like Tyler!"
In real "news", we had a great cub scout pack meeting this week. Tyler has worked hard all year and finally earned not only his Bear badge, but a whopping 10 arrow points! He knew he had earned awards, but we hadn't told him exactly what he'd be receiving, so he was very surprised and excited. He always has to make silly faces when he gets "war paint" for earning a rank badge...
We also say goodbye to our 5th graders at the March pack meeting, as they cross over into boy scouts. Last year, Tyler wasn't too interested in or impressed with the ceremony, but he was mesmerized this year. He's already discussing which boy scout troop he should join two years from now! Please tell him we said congrats!! Bear badge and ten arrow points, that's quite impressive!!! WEbelos is quite exciting too!! Trey just earned his webelos badge and will be getting his compass point emblem this month!! Yeah!! I'm not looking forward to camping though in May. I prefer the camping inside rather than in a tent. Too bad dad will probably not be home to take him! Wednesday, March 26, 2008
Great pictures of life! I enjoyed reading through your blog | Welcome to our world! I'm the homeschooling mommy of three beautiful, noisy, messy little boys. We've been homeschooling from the beginning. We also run a home daycare and do preschool activities daily. This blog is a photographic chronicle of the highlights and joys, trials and troubles of our journey through life with our "dirt magnets".
