Language Explosion...and Oh My, Am I Behind! (April 24) Thursday, April 24, 2008 James is a big talker (as both of his brothers were...never a moment's quiet in this house!), but he's been amazing us all with his sudden vocabulary explosion this week. Instead of the one or two new words a day that we'd been hearing, this week, he's been adding words to his spoken vocabulary at a rate of six or seven a day! Post A Comment Send to a Friend

My 13 month old, Peanut loves to "talk" but it mainly baby chatter. She can, however, say Dada (not mama), no and her older sister's name (well, a version of it anyway!). I know as mother's we always want our children to talk and then we spend many years telling them to be quiet!! She also loves dogs - they seem to fascinate her! And being outside, but she'll take just looking out the window if it's too cold. Here in WI, winter will not let go of it's icy grip :( Anyway, cute pictures. How are you able to have so many posted? I'm a little tech-challenged! Monday, May 5, 2008
Fun! I was always thankful that my two were big talkers too. They always got to a point where I could barely keep up with all the new words they were learning. Tuesday, May 6, 2008
I love it when they start to talk!! Its so much fun!! My little one is just learning to sit up. Soon, she'll be crawling through the dog hair. Maybe I'll just shave the dog. lol
