Soccer Camps and Fields of Flowers (June 10)

This week, Tyler and Ryan are both spending their mornings at a British Challenger Soccer Camp.  Ryan's 3-4 year old class runs for an hour each day and Tyler's is three hours.  Thankfully, they are at a park with a decent little playground and a couple of large, unused fields, so there's plenty for the little ones to do while they wait for Ty to finish.  We've also been lucky and James has been able to stay and play with Grandma most mornings, freeing me up to actually watch his brothers play ball!  Another morning, she was able to bring the daycare group to the park to play, which thrilled Ryan.

First, pictures of Tyler's camp.  He's enjoying himself and says the coach is nice and he likes the other kids, but he wishes that he didn't get so sweaty running around!  Honestly, he's never been the most athletic kid around, but he's trying hard this week and doing well.

Ryan's camp is all fun and games.  His favorite is the "frog game", in which the kids dribble the ball to a little cone and try to stop it on top of the cone.  If they succeed and smash the cone, they ribbit like frogs.  They played this game the first morning of camp and he's requested it every morning since!

Keeping busy for two hours...

Attempting to teach James and his buddy, Isabel, a few soccer skills -

and, of course, picking dandelions -
