Bears, Bugs, and Brrr, That's Cold (June 27)

The St. Louis Zoo is always a treat, since we don't have bears or penguins (two of our favorites) at our own zoo.  This year, they also have a dinosaur area, with robotic dinosaurs that are really cool!  James was a little unsure of most them, and would only look at the bigger dinosaurs from the security of mom or dad's arms, but Ryan and Tyler were completely fascinated and wanted to go through a second time!  We also enjoyed the bug building and the fountains in the Children's Zoo.

Isn't this little leopard cub cute?

Some of our favorite critters -

To cool off after our long, hot day at the zoo, we stopped at another St. Louis "must", Ted Drewes, and then headed back to the hotel for a swim.

Welcome to our world! I'm the homeschooling mommy of three beautiful, noisy, messy, homeschooled-from-the-start little boys. My mom and I also run a home daycare with a daily preschool program. This blog is a photographic chronicle of the highlights and joys, trials and troubles of our journey through life with our "dirt magnets".
