Renaissace Faire costume..and other stuff.

i know its been ages since i wrote anything. so, i was thinking of putting pictures. :) i'm not much of a sewer, but i attempted to make myself a costume to wear to this october's renaissance faire that i'm playing my violin/fiddle for. i was thinking that a gypsy outfit would do, so a really good freind of mom's blessed me with the finances to buy all that i needed to make it. it came out better than i expected...considering i was the one who made it. hopefully it doesn't fall to pieces while i'm wearing it, that would be bad. :/ anyway, here is the dress.....

so, there ya have it. :D i'mma add a few bracelets and earings, and viola! i'll be all set. i've never played or even been to a renaissance faire before, so it will be a learning expericance. should be lots of fun, that's for sure. i'm really looking forward to it. it's going to be on the 24th of october. so i have been practicing my violin nearly everyday. and if i'm not practicing, i'm normally playing with the groups in the surrounding area. my fovorite place to play is at the autcion that is held every friday night just up the road. it's lots of fun i enjoy playing with other musicians every chance i get.

all this violin playing has also been helping me get all practiced up for a cd that i'm going to be recording this november when i go down to louisiana for thanksgiving. which i'm also very excited about. but i'll write more about that later.

new camera! / picture post!

hey ya'll,

we got an awesome new camera that takes WONDERFUL, and i'm talking really GREAT pictures. so i thought i'd post a few that i took yesterday.

you know me, i always have to take some flowers. lol! this is on regular far out zoom.

this one, i'm far away, and have the zoom really close in. same wonderful quality. *hugs camera*

how cute is she?!? .... must run in the family. =P jk!

then i got in the picture and Heather was gracious enough to take us being goofy. (i'm not really that ticklish, but she was having a blast thinking that i was) *wink*

ok, ok, so i'm a big kid. =P

Ah, now here i am acting all proper and lady-like again as if i wasn't just rolling around in the grass. ^_^

One thing for sure, this camera takes AWESOME motion pictures.

As you can tell, she was having as much fun as I was....

I "used" to be able to do that... :P

Latest Crocheting project!

Hey! I know! Long time no write, eh?
Thought I'd post my new project that I've been working on.
(sorry, I can't give out a pattern for it, I just made it up)

Hi there! My name is Sarah. I'm a born-again Christian and a relocated Cajun. I love the Lord. I'm 19, and weird, but my family still loves me, lol....I think.... I thank God everyday for my wonderful family and friends. One of my great passions is playing my violin/fiddle (no there is no difference) I love playing in church and for just about anyone who would listen. But most of all I play for God and Dad. I'm sure God allows my dad to hear me wherever I am. God does special and awesome things like that for his children. One of my other great passions is writing. I'm always starting some new story....I just never finish the ones that I already have. ^_^
