Hey ya'll. We are HOME! It feels so good to sleep in my own bed. (sigh..) The last few nights down there were spent at my sister Celeste and her husband Ryan's house. I'm really missing their big screen TV and high speed internet. I guess I miss them too. lol. Actually, I miss them like crazy. Celeste is fun and happy. Ryan is sweet and considerate. One time I was sitting on the floor and my bottom had gone to sleep and Ryan said,
  "Why don't you sit on the recliner."
  "I just might do that. The floor is getting pretty hard."
  "I'm sorry."
  "For what the floor being to hard?'
  "Yeah."
  He was so sincere when he said it, you know he has such a good heart.

 I had gotten a scare when we came home Saturday night and my cat, Sophie, (my baby), wasn't anywhere's to be seen So Sunday after noon my neighbor came and helped us look for her. Nothing. So here I am all scared and everything, and low and behold she shows up Monday morning. But I do think we'll be having kittens soon, cause our other cat, Milkyway, is getting round. I'm usually right about these things. :-D

 I'm hoping to get some good comments on my song. If I do I'll post a more recent one I wrote. Thank for the comments Caroline, Jordan, and Delaine, Doesn't it really make one feel better when one gets a comment? Maybe its just me. :-D

 Wasn't the Virgina shooting so horrible? I can't imagine what I would do in that situation. It's unfathomable. It makes me more grateful I'm homeschooled. I wish I could do something. I guess all I can do is pray for them and their families. and hope you are to.

My Dad and I went to the music house Sunday after church to play music. The Music House is a rundown old shack that probably dates back to the 1800's, and every Sunday, faithfully, all the old folks in the backwoods meet and have a "pickin". I'm usually the only one under 30. :-) But they like the way I play the fiddle, and everytime they see me coming they holller out "Here comes Dixie!"Then I 'have' to to play Dixie. Which is sort of how I got my name dixiefiddler name. So this Sunday there was an old man there from the newspaper and he took down my name for something about about a column in his paper he was doing. I'm not sure what he had in mind.

Well, this is an extemly long entry. I guess I'd better go.
