Fall has come for a visit. Praise the Lord.
Weatherbug says the temperature this morning is 63. Wahoo! You cant understand what a blessing that is unless you live in South Texas.
We had school outside on Monday and took last Thursday off and went to the zoo. Cool days are few and far between here. (If the temperature dips below 90, we feel blessed. If the humidity dips below 100%, we throw a party and head out to the Texas Hill Country - San Antonio, Johnson City, Fredericksburg, Marble Falls
)
I dont think Fall came for a visit at all last year. Last year Katrina and Rita came to visit. This year weve all been holding our collective breaths and praying that we wont be repeating the horror again.
Thank you, Lord for the cool weather. Thank you that thus far we havent had a hurricane
and it is almost October which means we are probably free and clear
Praise the Lord!
I love this time of the year. It makes me wish I lived in the country. Maybe someday. In the meantime, I guess we will just have to get in our car and drive. Road trip anyone?
blessings,
dani

Stay in touch - I think that eventually there will be a Texas HSB picnic - and I'd love to meet you!
