Ladies at my church have been talking about participating in the International Day of Prayer for the persecuted church. I found a wonderful example of how prayer makes a difference.

This week two missionaries in South Africa with Trans World Radio were kidnapped. What happened next is nothing short of a miracle. [Read the amazing story  here.]  After their organization sent out emails requesting prayer all over the world for this couple, they were released.

One of the kidnappers/carjackers said to them:  "I was going to kill you, but you obviously have people praying for you and I am not going to kill you."

This couple and the whole team still desire prayers after this traumatic event. Praise the Lord  their lives were spared!
