Trip Pics

Over the weekend we went to the mountains. We got to see SNOW! We traveled the Cherohala Skyway to Robbinsville, and then to Cherokee to see the Cherokee Museum. We came home by way of Gatlinburg. ON TO THE PICS!

I know, I know--I really shouldn't try to take pictures from a moving car. But it's so seldom I see snow, that I had to take a picture--just to remind me of what it looked like! The kids wanted to get out and play in it so bad, but with us all recovering from crud, we thought it best to wait on that activity.

Oh wow! Those are just beautiful! So glad you got snow! ~ And I guess I should admit, I take pictures from a moving car all the time, sometimes they come out, other times they just don't. But I always try.

Oh I just love the photos of the hills covered in the snow. So beautiful. I just love snow : ) It makes everything go so silent. We are expecting just under a foot tonight sometime if the weatherman's forecast is correct so it could be extra white in the morning *grin*

To even see the snow we had to go over 4,000 feet! Maybe the Lord will gently blanket us once this winter with some of the lovely stuff. My husband insists SNOW is a four letter word, and as such should never be mentioned in this house....NOT a snow fan!

Taking pictures from a moving car is part of the fun! The snow is beautiful. My ds1 wants to play in snow so badly. He's seen it only once - just flurries.

How beautiful! I love snow but we have not seen a good one here in sometime.the girls and I are hoping for one this year ~ hubby not so much =P
