What a strange thing to say!  What an even stranger thing to title a blog entry! But this morning I read something from Paul in First Corinthians 11:1 that gave me pause:

"Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ"--ESV

"Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ."--KJV

I'm not sure I can say that.  Can I truly invite people to imitate me, knowing that will also be an imitation--a following --of the Lord Jesus Christ? I guess it goes back to what our pastor said yesterday--we can get just as close to Jesus as we want because he's given us an open invitation.  The hitch is--how close do I want to be close to my Lord?
