I'm not a huge fan of devotionals. I prefer simply sitting down with the Word rather than some of the cutesy themed or watered down selection with sparse reference to Scripture.

There is a dear lady, Pam Iannelllo,  who writes devotionals that are consistently rich with Scripture. Recently, I signed up for email delivery of them and have enjoyed every one--even the ones that make me say, "Ouch!"  And there are many of those.
