I just heard from a dear friend of mine--her uncle has cancer, but at least it's treatable leukemia. Another friend of mine--in fact my best friend from school--has cancer in her family. Her father's doctors aren't sure what kind it is. And a lady I love dearly keeps having this mysterious knot appear on her neck. I've urged her to get a needle biospsy done. A knot like this was the first visible symptom of my sweet mother-in-law Shelby's cancer.

A relative gave my Dad a t-shirt that read, "Cancer is Big. God is Bigger." Amen, and amen!
