Well Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and I still have not gone Christmas shopping...

But thats beside the point!

Wow! it is 6 days away! and I haven't even began packing for our Ohio trip!

Yup...you guessed it...we are going to Ohio for Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving literally means "to give thanks"... but to who...and for what?

The holiday origonated because our forefathers gave thanks to God for the safe arrival and settlement in the beginning of our good ol' USA. Yeah, the journey was hard, and many people died...but they did finally get here...and even when they got here it was hard...but they were thankful that they had finally made it, and could now worship God the way they wanted to.

But over the years Thanksgiving became just a day that involved a lot of food that you could fill up on until you became so sick you could hardly move for fear of throwing up.

So...Lets give thanks to God this week

What happened to my leg? Good question. Um, I don't really know. But last January (on my birthday no less!) I fell in a game and knocked my legs into each other...and they were sore for awhie, but then it went away...and then we started practicing for bball this year and we ran uphill on pavement for like two weeks...and my leg started hurting again. Now I have a stress fracture. But it's small. that's good.
Sorry about YOUR leg. lol.
