This is your life.. are you who you wanna be?

NASHVILLE, Tenn. —  The 5-year-old daughter of Grammy-winning Christian music star Steven Curtis Chapman was struck and killed Wednesday by a sport utility vehicle driven by her brother, authorities said.

The girl, Maria Sue, was hit in the driveway of the family's home Wednesday afternoon by a Toyota Land Cruiser driven by her teenage brother, said Laura McPherson, a spokeswoman for the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The brother, whose name and exact age weren't available, apparently did not see the girl, McPherson said. No charges are expected.

"It looks like a tragic accident," she said.

Several family members witnessed the accident, which happened in Williamson County just south of Nashville. The girl died later at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, hospital spokeswoman Laurie Holloway said.

In a statement, Velvet Kelm, a publicist for Chapman, said Maria was the Chapmans' youngest daughter.

Chapman, who is originally from Paducah, Ky., and his wife have promoted international adoption and have three daughters from China, including Maria. They also have three biological children.

The singer's Web site says the couple was persuaded by their oldest daughter to adopt a girl from China. The experience led the family to adopt two more children and create Shaohannah's Hope, a foundation and ministry to financially assist thousands of couples in adoption.

The Chapmans did missionary work at Chinese orphanages in 2006 and 2007, according to the Web site.

"After our first trip to China, my wife and I knew our lives were changing -- our eyes and hearts were opening to how big God really is, and we have wanted to experience more of that," Chapman says on the Web site.

"We've really wondered whether or not we should just go to China and stay there. But I don't think so. I believe God is saying, 'I want you to go, get your heart broken, your eyes opened, and then take this story back to the church in America and around the world."'

The 45-year-old singer also has released a book about being a father titled "Cinderella: The Love of Daddy and his Princess." He has won five Grammy awards and 54 Dove awards from the Gospel Music Association, according to Kelm.

Sad isn't it...
I will now go into the BIG thing that happened yesterday!
I was outside with Belle and we were on the ground playing. Belle was tied up and all was going well. I heard this couple behind us with a couple of kids fighting and a few bad words but I went on playing because I was outside alone...
Out comes the man and who slips out the door with him? None other then his huge bulldog. LIKE TALL HUGE... Belle started barking and here he comes. of corse belle doesn't stop until hes right there and runs for her life. Of corse the dog runs after Belle and it ends up on the deck and Belle goes under the table where he can't reach her.. mean while the man is coming over I grab the dog by the collar and Belle goes down the steps... I give him the dog and then phew all good. WAIT WHERES BELLE... so i'm now freaked when she isn't in the backyard... if she went to the front and into the street she could be dead or gone and i'm like running now... shes in the driveway looking around like 'what do I do know, is the big bad dog gone' I rush over to her grab her and we go inside where she barks and barks... she didn't get her full take of that dog and she wants it!
My mom's like.. I'm amazed Jennifer... how can you not be so freaked out by dogs because you were bit in the head when you were little? I was bit pretty bad.. it was my grandmas old dog he was sleeping and I walk past him and he bits me somehow... I end up with staples in my head... I only rememeber being in the ER and looking at my bloody hand... thats about it
ANYHOO Belle still wants a shot at the dog... someday she'll learn

Wow, that's really sad about Mr. Chapman's daughter! Have you heard his song "Cinderella"? Wow, That must have been pretty exiting with your dog... and scary being bit in the head! So... how have you been? Ever since I got home from my vacation, you haven't been on, so I haven't been able to chat with you. I hope that I can chat with you soon!

Well, I'm not thrilled. I wanted Archuleta to win, not Cook. Actually, I wanted Brooke to win, but that didn't seem possible after she got voted out... :-)
