Home for a Gringo or two
May. 30, 2006
Por fin!
Por fin! At last I am on.  I tried this last week to no avail, but now it appears that I am a blogger, or I have a site that may teach me to blog.

My primary purpose is to offer support for those who wish to practice Spanish.  I am a gringo with a little bit of experience with the language, which I love, and which I want to share.  I also am involved in home schooling.  I Work for the Vision III HCP program centered in Cedaredge, CO and am looking for opportunities to assist t home school programs and home school moms and dads and youth.  How that may occur is yet to be determined.

Bueno, esto es suficiente por ahora.  Viene mas pronto.

Hasta luego.

Don Montoncito

Glad you got set up here! Thanks for your comment on my blog. Laddie Livingston impresses me as caring a great deal more about individual learners and their education than about money, but I've no doubt the VISION program was established based on how much money the school district could get with the least effort on their own part. (The same motivation will help us begin a VISION program here, too.) Cynical, but true.

Jun. 2, 2006 - I have just made you my friend, so you'd better make me yours.

I think the subject line pretty well says it all. (You DO read the subject line, don't you?) Although it also implies a sort of threat. I have no idea what it'd be, though. "Make me your friend or I'll set Resa on you?" "Make me your friend or... um.... I'll... um...." Oh well. Seriously (okay, well, semi-seriously; with me, that's about as good as it gets sometimes), thanks for posting on my blog. I think it's so cool that you're on here too!

Just stumbled on your blog. I look forward to seeing what you do with Spanish. My wife and I went to Honduras last year, and will be leaving for Guatemala in a couple weeks.

I will add you to my friends list to see how your blog progresses.

Blessings,

Rob

This is something of a forewarning post. I know that you don't post very often, but when you do, please don't use my real name. Apparently, I forgot to tell someone that I don't want my real name known. It'll probably be all over the Internet in a very little space of time, but I'm trying to do damage control. So, from now on, whether posting or commenting, please call me 'Dragontongue'. Thank you.

Apes in your pants, anonymous? Besides, that's German, not Spanish. lol anyway. I don't really understand the relevance of all the loverly chocolate, caramel and peanuts in regard to lobster, but the candy sounds nice.
