When posting pictures on your HSB blog, you can either use the HSB uploader or take advantage of sites such as Photobucket. Either way, posting pictures is quite simple.
Via HSB uploader:
1) After uploading your picture (see tutorial), go to the album where your picture is located. Beneath the file name will be a link which says “post.” Click this, and you will automatically be taken to an empty entry form with your picture already inserted. Simply fill out the title and the rest of the post, and you’re done!
Alternate method:
If you need to put more than one picture in a post, it might be simpler to use this method.
1) Go to the album where your picture is, and click on the title. This will open the image in a blank page and show its location in the navigation bar.
2) Highlight and copy (ctrl+C or right click) the entire URL in the navigation bar (a URL always includes http:// before the web address, so be sure to get that as well).
3) Go back to your account and start a new entry. It would be helpful to do this in another tab or window.
4) Above the entry field, click the square button with the picture of the mountains and sun (when you hover over it, you will see “Insert/Edit Image.”)
5) Paste the URL you previously copied into the field “URL.” Then click “insert image.” You’re done!
Via Photobucket:
To post pictures using your Photobucket account, follow the alternate method instructions above, except you will copy the URL from Photobucket (this is the way I do it).
