God protects

Today as I watched the Nate Saint clip (from the last post) with my Dad, I thought of how God takes care of us and knows what's best for us.  Tonight we just learned that my Grandma's cancer came back and that it was at the worst level it could be on.  But I remembered that no matter how bad things get for Grandma she is in God's hands.

1st peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.4. to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in Heaven for you,.5. who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

I know that what ever God's plan may be it is the right plan, we can trust Him, and eternity will be worth it all.

Psalm 32:10 "many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him."

your friend in Christ,
Hattie

ps.....please pray for God to be honored throughout my Grandma's sickness.

I will be praying for your Grandma, and for your family. I think one of the best ways to pray for this kind of situation is to pray that the people involved will have the strength to handle what ever comes.

Does your Grandma know the lord?

I will be praying for your family and your Grandmother during this time. When my mom had cancer, I was amazed at all the people we were able to witness to because of her illness and the way she handled it.
