Yesterday.
We have gum trees all around us, everyone in our street has a gum tree next to their house.
Yesterday at 1 o'clock I heard a bang, like two sheets of metal hitting each other. We looked around our house and nothing was wrong so I went on the street. Our next door neighbours roof of their house was caved in. They had a tree in their back yard and one of the limbs had broken off and smashed their deck and crushed the roof.
The SES came and cut up some of the little branches, they were there till 7.30. All the news programs came the newspapers were all there to report it, our little Court has never seen so much action.
A crane is coming today to remove the tree.

That's what we were so afraid would happen during Hurrican Isabel.
While my family and I were having dinner, suddenly we heard this HUGE crash, and we all went outside and saw this BIG tree had fallen in the street across from our house. That's when my parents told us to get downstairs!
