It's been a busy weekend. Sammie and I had a huge argument, and we're not talking to each other. I think it'll probably blow over, but for now, I'm mad at her.

So...

Normal Tuesday morning. We walked to church then stayed for a half-hour (mass is only 30 min. on weekdays), then we caught the bus with Maddy's friend and her mom. We went all the way across town, and we were on the bus for 80 minutes. After about 20 minutes my mom and Maddy's friends mom got of and went to the grocery store. I stayed on with Maddy and her friend and we went up to Blanco Alamos, which is a part of town that has HUGE houses and it's really fun just to ride around and look at them. Maddy was sitting next to her friend, Beth, and I was sitting all by myself in the back, a few rows behind them. It was awful. Beth does not know the meaning of "sit down, shut up and don't disturb the other passengers"! Actually, their weren't any other passengers on the bus, but all the same. She was very loud and very rowdy. She doesn't know when enough is enough. After I'd asked her to lower her voice 3 times and Maddy had asked her to stop tickling her about 7 times, she was still going strong. So, that wasn't the best. This afternoon I have TAG (Teen Advisory Group) at the library, then I have a guitar lesson at the high school, then I have girl scouts, which means I'll probably be out until 9:00, so I won't do another entry today. So...!

Updating on what's been happening... OMGsh, it has been SO LONG. Actually, it hasn't, but last time I came on, I didn't really say anything. Okay, as I've said, I have discovered a new band (Tokio Hotel) and have fallen hopelessly in love with their lead singer Bill. Awful name. Adorable face, however. My computer's been being weird lately, so, if for some reason it says I posted this on December 31, 1969, it's not my fault. So, I had my birthday recently. We didn't do much. I had a sleep over with Sammie and Andrea. We went to see Little Shop of Horrors at the high school, and, OMGsh, Jonathan was sitting right behind us in the theatre! and he was giggling the whole time, which was weird... but that's all right. Sammie gave me an ADORABLE pair of plaid shorts (that just happens to be four sizes too big for me, but oh well! that's what belts are for!) we went to visit Sammie's grandparents in February. It was a five hour drive to get their, which was okay. I had Sammie and Andrea, and believe me, with them around, you are NEVER bored. So, when we got their, it was late, and we didn't do much. But the entire weekend their was so much fun. Sammie, Andrea and I all had to crowd into one queen sized bed, cause Sammie's grandparents house is tiny and Maddy and Annie had taken up the other queen sized bed. But it was still alot of fun. We got to go on the tire swing, and explore this old abandoned house, and hang out around the farm. It was really cool. I'll have to get back to you later on what's been going on cause it's past my bedtime and if my parents find out I'm still up, I'm Dead with a capitol D. Okay, maybe not, but I think it would still be better for my health if I got to bed now. Bye!

Guess what?

My dad decided that we had to have his sister over for Thanksgiving. And then he decided that she had to stay in my room. So I'm stuck in this tiny room that's allready half full of his junk. Today he came in my "room" (half-cluttered room full of crud) and decided that he didn't want my clothes on the desk. Yeah, well guess what, Bubba? If you hadn't taken my room in the first place to give to your sister for a week then my clothes would be put away in my drawers not in some 10 x 10 room that's full of YOUR computers and boxes and what not! *deep breath* One more day...then they're gone...(doesn't mean my dad's going to stop yelling at me)...but still...they're gone...

Cristina...

remember how I got all mad at Sam cause she was ditching me for Cristina? I think Cristina's jelouse :p on friday, we were supposed to be helping with little kids, like really small girl scouts, and anyways, I was giving some of them snacks, and I was wearing a tie (I'm weird - I wear ties and stuff, it's just my personal style), and one of the little girls was like "I like your tie! It's so cool!" and Cristina was like "How can you like her tie? Sammie's is so much cooler. Mandy always picks out ugly clothes, she has no fashion sense." and she was perfectly seriose, and I was rly shocked and I just stared at her, and she was like "Nobody can like Mandy, she has no self-esteem and no respect for anyone including herself." and, I was so shocked, cause I don't know why Cristina was like that, I know we've never really gotten along, but I've never purpously done something to offend her. And I probably would have yelled at her right there if all the little kids wern't there, but I didn't, instead i went and reported it to one of the adults (Bev) who said that she'd talk to Cristina. Cristina didn't give me an apology or anything, but oh well. and then a couple of days ago I was at CCD, and the teacher kindof encourages us to copy each others work, he each gives us a couple of problems, and then has us write them up on the chalk board so everyone can copy it. And so my problems were I had to define Natural Law and something or other about the ten commandments. Cristina's words that she had to define were Atheism and Creation. And Cristina asked me what words I had, and I was like "I've got G and H." and she's like "Oh, those are easy...he normally assignes them according to your intellegence level." and I was just like "Whatever, Cristina." and then I went up and wrote them on the board, and she kindof sneered at my handwriting, and she was like "beautiful". I don't get why she's been being so mean lately.

2 parties in one day...

so first, I went to a halloween party at Amanda's house (even though Amanda told the whole school who I like) and that was fine. And, I wanted to dress up as an emo, but I already wear scene/goth clothes, like what people who have never seen emo's call emo clothes, so I was going to just put alot of make-up on. I put like, alot of eye-liner on, and it looked like the racoon and avril style eyes. Like the living dead. Then I put acouple of tear drops on my face w/ blue eye liner, and I didn't have black lipstick so I just put on blood red, and my mom said I looked more like a doll then an emo, so I decided to be a marionett instead. I just tied some strings onto my wrists, and put some glitter on my eye lids. All looked very fake. Exactly the look I was going for (after I decided to be a marionett). So, at Amanda's house, it all went well. Kindof boring, we stood around and talked, drank punch, and ate tootsie-rolls. That was it. Then Amanda was like "are you guys going to the dance?" and I was like "Dance!?". So we worked stuff out, and we went to a haunted house then to the dance. At the haunted house, i screamed so loud I'm still hoarse. It was terrible. I hate haunted houses. If I didn't go, they'd come out and be like "It was sooo fun!", and if I did go (like I did) then I wouldn't/didn't have fun! So after that, I was like...sooo freaked out, I could barely talk. But I got over it. And sooo...at the dance, it was pretty cool. I asked a scary dude with bat-wings to dance with Sam, but he wouldn't. Then Sam and I tried to get Andrea to dance with someone, but she threw such a fit they threatened to throw us out ;) So, Sam and Andrea asked like, 7, I think, guys to dance with me. 2 said yes. The first one was rly cute, and he was wearing black clothes, and had blonde hair, and so we started dancing, and it was rly akward cuz the strings on my wrists from the marianett costume kept getting caught on his hat, and we were kindof in a corner, and I was like "You wanna actually go on the dance floor?" and he's like "No. I don't rly dance." and then he kindof stepped back, and we just stood there kindof looking at each other, and then he started walking away and I was like "Where are you going?" and I was following him, and he's like "To the dance floor!" and I was like "Oh, okay." and then he just looked at me, and I looked at him, and he was like "What!?!?!" and I was like "Ya' know what, forget it." and I just walked away. Then Sophia had her mind set to it that I had to dance with Cody. Yeah...the same Cody taht I used to like, and Amanda told everyone. So that didn't rly work out, we just stood there and talked, and then this girl came up to us and she was like "Aw how cute! what's your name?" so I was like "Mandy." and she was like "Aw! Mandy and Cody! You two should go out! Mandy, will you go out with him?" and I was like "Not allowed to date 'till I'm 16." and Cody just nodded, and she was like "Aw, too bad." and then she left. And Cody said I looked beautiful, which I found hard to believe with my panda-eyes and smeared tears on my cheek. but I felt flattered all the same. And that was just about it...the end of the dance. yep.

.Back from vacation

We went to Arches national park. It was pretty cool, we had the CUTEST cabin! like, when you walked in the door the kitchen and the bathroom were to the right, then to the left there was the living room and the stairs to the loft. The loft had a full sized bed and a queen sized. Guess who got the beds. Exactly. Maddy got the full sized bed, and my parents got the queen sized one, and I was stuck on the couch. That's allright, it's better then having to sleep in the fullsized one with Madysyn. On the first day, I managed to twist my knee...again...So I couldn't really hike at all. I still hiked anyways though. Unfortunatly, the first hike I went on my leg was hurting like, alot, so I tried to sit down whenever I could. At one point, I went to sit down on a log and sat down next to a rattle snake. Which was freekie. I was okay, though. When we were about to leave, I bought the most adorable souveneir sweater. It's brown and has an open front, and it's a hoodie. On our way back we stopped at Hovenweep, which is a natl. monument with a bunch of indian ruins. So we spent a few hours there, and by the time we got on the road it was pretty late. At about 10:00, I was snoozing, and everyone else was awake (thank God) and my mom yelled "watch out!" and so my dad suddenly hit the brakes, and I woke up, and I looked infront of us and there was this huge stag one foot away from the hood, and behind it were about a dozen does. They moved, and my dad kept going. Finally last night we got back at about 1:00. I didn't get to sleep until like, 5:30 and then my dad woke me up at 10:00. joy. Then my parents wasted about 3 hours today screaming at each other...in other words everythings back to normal.

*sigh...*

Last night there was another dance...it was TORTURE. Okay, so, Sam called me up and said that there was going to be a dance, her mom was making her go and Andrea said she wouldn't go if i didn't. So, after a whole morning of playing phone-tag to see if homeschoolers were allowed to go to the dance, I finally got an answer...yes. BUT, one of my parents had to escort me in. Which meant I couldn't ride with Sam, like I planned. So I made plans with Sam's mom to pick up her and Andrea. Funny thing is, she never told Sam the plans. But the ride thing all worked out in the end. 1 hour before the dance, I find out you need a permission slip. Luckily I was able to print one off the website. HOWEVER...Sam lost hers and Andrea forgot to get her mom to sign hers. And when she realized that, her was was 2 hours away picking her sister up at the airport. Luckily, I didn't have to go to the dance alone. Since Sam's dad was driving her, he was able to fill out a permission slip at the door, and we just handed Andrea's in without a signature. I didn't think it would work! the woman took the slip, stared at it for like, 10 minutes, set it down and said "allright, you can go in." YES! So, once in, first thing I saw was Jax. You remember Jax? Of course you remember Jax. At the beginning of the summer I spent THREE HOURS chasing him all around the town in BLACK JEANS and BLACK BOOTS in NINETY DEGREE WEATHER because Sam would DIE if she didn't get his number. So, Jax is standing there, slowely revolving around the dance floor with a blue-eyed blonde in his arms. I look at Sam. She shruggs. I guess she got over him... Then Cydney comes up. Have I introduced Cydney? nope, I guess not. Well, she's okay. She's gossips alot, though. So, she pointed to blondie leaning against Jax and says "That's Nicole...I hate her!" then skips off to join Cristina (oh yeah, last weekend Sam was ditching me for Cristina and we weren't talking for like, 3 days cause of it). Then Amanda walks up to us. Have I told you about Amanda and Cody? no? okay, well, to make a long story short...Met Cody. Got Cody's e-mail. E-mailed Cody every night. Told Amanda I like Cody. Amanda told entire school. Cody stops talking to me. Mom finds out. Mom grounds me from e-mail. Mandy embarasses her a.ss off infront of every STINKIN' MIDDLE SCHOOLER IN VISTA LINDA!!! So, anyways, Amanda walks up to our group, and starts asking annoying questions. (Whhyyy did yyyooouuu come to the daaancccee...? Are hooomeschoooolerrrs alloooweddd to cooommme...? I don't know why she drags out her letters like that, but she does.) Finally, I got rid of Amanda. about an hour later, things finally start to get better. Hannah shows up, and introduces me to some guys, I requested a song, everything was going good. Then a slow song came on. Sammie comes running up to me yelling "GO! you're going to dance with Jacob!" What? Okay, honestly, Jacob is not that bad. Even though he has braces, and is growing a mustache, you can't help but like him when you see those adorable brown puppy eyes of his, and his black spiked hair. Plus, he's one of the nicest guys I know. So Sam pushes me over to where Jacob was standing. "Dance!" she shouts, "okay I'll leave you guys alone, I'll be over there." She ran off. Jacob was a rock. I had to literally, grab his wrists and put his hands on my waist and start dancing. He wouldn't say anything, and wouldn't even make eye contact with me. And it didn't help at all that Sammie, Andrea, Hannah, Crystal, Cydney, Cristina, and I dunno who else was standing over at the side, giggling and pointing. The song ended, Jacob ran off as quick as he could and I was left standing all alone at the edge of the dance floor. Not for long. Sammie and Andrea came up, and bombarded me with the usual comments after dancing with a guy ("oh! you would make such a cute couple!" "aw, how long till the wedding?") So, I get over Jacob leaving me, and start dancing with me friends. Then I turn around and guess who's dancing with Jacob? Nicole. Oh well, there are plenty of other cute guys at the dance. Such as the one I danced with at the six-sevvie. No...he's gone. Never mind. After awhile, Sam decided I had to dance with another guy. So she went and got Gary. Gary is a super-popular 7th grader, who unlike most super-popular 7th graders, has actually talked to me! like, talked. Like, knows my name. I knew him in 5th grade, when he was a dork. But now he's not a dork. and he remembers me from 5th grade. So, anyways, Sam walked up to ask Gary to dance with me. Oh no. He's talking to Nicole. I stop. Sam keeps going. "Sam!" I hiss, as she walkes towards him. Didn't work. So, Sam asks him to dance with me infront of Nicole! I turned around, I couldn't watch. I was going to die from humilation. Then I felt something. I opened my eyes. Gary was standing infront of me, his arms around my waist. "Hey, Mandie." He said smiling. O.M.G. He has braces too. What is it with me and guys who have braces? So, I was surprised, but I put my arms around his neck anyways. I felt like I was about to pass out. I was shaking. He just kept smiling at me. The song ended, and he smiled (how cute!) and walked away. I walked back to my group. It didn't look good. Crystal and Andrea were enthusiastically trying to get Hannah to dance. Hannah looked like she was about to be sick. "What's the matter?" I asked. Hannah: *Death glare* Sam took me aside. "What's up with Hannah?" I asked. "She likes Gary." Sam said (BTW, Gary, you better not be reading this!) Now I was the one who felt like I was going to puke. All thoughts of the dance I had had with Gary left my mind. I looked to my left, at Hannah. She still looked sick. I couldn't stand watching her, so I turned my head to the right. Great. Guess who I see now. Gary. Well, at least he's not talking to Nicole. She's over with Jacob again... "I'm so sorry." I stammered. "I'll tell Hannah you said that." Sam muttered walking away. I walked into the crowd of dancers, to my friend Sean. Sean is nice, and funny, and just overall a cool guy. I was going to go vent to him about Hannah and Gary, but he was dancing with his friend. and his friend is a hispanic, black haired, GUY. What's wrong with this picture? I turned around to go back. I came to the place where we had all been hanging out. But now it was just Hannah and Gary. Dancing. Hannah had this blissfull expression on. Gary didn't look too bad either. Hannah saw me, smiled and gave me the thumbs up. So things were good with Hannah. So then, pretty much, the dance was over. We went to drop people off, and guess what. I lost my earring. The only one that will fit in my cartilidge piercing (did I spell that right?). That's allright. I can get another one. So, that's all. I guess it turned out okay, but for the most part I was pretty miserable.

yo!

okay, soo, since I've been grounded from the computer ALOT has been going on. Oh yeah...I got my nose pierced. :D. yep, I just stuck a safety pin through my nose then put an earring in. it kindof hurt. But it was worth it. and now it doesn't hurt. I can put it in and take it out with ease. I had another babysitting job today, two very nice girls (I didn't wear my nose ring to babysit). There names are Alina (age 6), and Sara, (age 8). They're just like me and Maddy before we started to hate each other <333 btw, me and Madysyn are grounded from being in the same room toghether. Today @ the pool, I saw this dude, and I've kindof known who he is 4 awhile...I know his sisters, but I thought he was younger then he is. I thought he was in 5th grade but he's actually a sevvie. Mahn, sry, this stupid computer keeps acting up. >:( so, bye! I'll get back 2 u as soon as I can.

Just got back from camp.

okay, so I went to camp, overall it was good. I loved my horse...her name was Zulu and I got to ride her everyday. but there was this one girl... I had 3 roomates, Hannah, Samantha, and Lori. okay so on the first day we were in the barn alot (cause it was a horse camp...) and we saw this cat, and she was a black cat and her name was Moonshine, and we couldn't touch her cause she hadn't had all her shots and she had lice. That night I woke up at about 3:00, and I thought I heard snoring. there was something warm next to me. I was just like "okay, who's in my bed?" then I reached over and felt somthing fuzzy then I realized I wasn't hearing snoring...it was purring. So...at first I was just like "AAAH! there's a raccoon in my bed!" then I turned on the light and saw it was the cat, so I just let her out and the next day the nurse checked to see if I had gotten lice (I hadn't.) The next night, Samantha woke up with icy water on her cot. So she slept on the floor. at 12:00 I woke up and heard somebody gagging...Samantha was throwing up. So we got the counsler and she cleaned it up, and Hannah and I stayed up with Samantha and handed her tissues when she got sick. Lori went back to sleep. So in the afternoon Hannah and I were rly tired (Samantha was staying in the nurses house.) and we wanted to sleep during free time and Lori wouldn't let us. So we got in an argument and she was like "Keep ticking me off and I'll put something nasty in your bed!" We reported her but the counsler didn't do anything. The next night Nona (she was in my group but not in my cabin) woke up with glow powder on her bed. she freaked (i guess she thought the aliens were attacking her sleeping bag or something.) and Alice had daisies in her pillow -- she's allergic to dasies. So for like 3 days she had a swollen eye. there's no proof, but I bet Lori did all that. so then while we were riding in the car on the way home my mom was like "hey Mandy, do you like a band called Barlow Girl?" and I'm like "yeah!" and she was like "oh...they're having a concert tonight."
