Mar. 22, 2009 - Lift up your Voice
Yea, if thou criest after knowledge,
and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
If thou seekest her as silver,
and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.
~Proverbs 2:3-5
I was looking through a Bible today and happened upon these scriptures. They just sort of, leaped out at me!
I am very grateful to have found this verse because, well, it's really what I need right now.
Today, merely ask God, pray to Him for understanding, and He will help you. He will not necessarily tell you all that is happening, well actually, He might not even tell you anything!
But if you interpret this verse in another way, you will see that if you "find the knowledge of God" it would be saying that "God will make his presence known to you." which is what it means right now, for m
Now, I am not very eloquent with words, [at least not right now] but I challenge anyone who reads this, to sometime in this week, or on the weekend, to find a passage in the Bible, or a hymn, which reflects how you are right now, or just jumps out at you, [both of which mine does.] and post it on your blog.
You don't need to write anything except the verses/hymn, but I will truly enjoy reading it if you do!
