Wishful Thinking...

Apr. 24, 2009 - Would you like some salmon?

Hallo!

So yes, my grandparents are here! We've been having a good time! Today we went walking to the library. It was a a little cold, yet quite sunny. Oh it was a loverly day!!! I got some new [old] books I can't wait to read! Some are:

~Kim-Rudyard Kipling
~Blink-Ted DeKker
~Ivanhoe-Sir Walter Scott
~Emma-Jane Austen
~A Christmas Carol-Charles Dickens
~And, I'm still reading Mere Christianity-C.S.Lewis
~Also, Jane Eyre-Charlotte Bronte

Today, I'm quite pleased with myself. I hope I'm not vain, I just like the feeling that I was responsible for something and I did all of it! [Yeah, I know I should probably have that feeling more often...]
I MADE DINNER!! YAY ME!!! *laughs* That's probably not such a big accomplishment, but I've never made it before! I've seen mum make it, but never done it myself. =~D
We had salmon, broccoli, and rice!

Here's the recipe for the salmon. Our family really enjoys this one!

  • Salmon~Lay the salmon in a pan that is covered with foil
  • Mayonnaise~Slather mayo all over it.
  • Lemon Pepper~Sprinkle the lemon pepper over the mayonnaise
~~~Preheat the oven to 350 degrees [fahrenheit] and bake it for 45 minutes. After it's finished, broil it on low for 7 min. And there you go!
Now, I'm off to [hopefully] watch Bleak House. G'bye!!!!
Be blessed,
p.s. Thanks so much to Emma for making me this beautiful signature! Check out her blog here!
