Oct. 30, 2009 - Oh look. This entry has a title. Fun.
...........I have to apologize again.
I'm sorry. =o( I'm a bad bloggy-person...
A weetle update before I go and do something hopefully productive...
• Thanks for all your prayers, our car was fixed the next day and it is as good as new.
• On Tuesday I re-recorded my song Dead Man [not it's real name], only adding drums and strings instead of just voice and piano.
• our Halloween costumes [we went to a Trunk-or-Treat thingy so that is why we are dressed up early...]
Yes, I'm the tallest. No, I did not intentionally pose like that. I was just holding up my cloak otherwise it would fall and cover my dress. Uhh...I'm sort of a pirate-girl-scribe-person-thingy... Bj, is a pirate also, Lady Flora is a princess-person-damsel-in-distress, and Thumbelina is of course, a fairy...
• I've been giggling a lot lately and making fun of my nine very tall, semi-invisible friends. Ugh. Maybe 13 Peoples now. 4 more came and I simply cannot get rid of them. =oP
• I like almonds. And spinach. And peanut butter with tortilla chips.
• I need to return my library books.
• Bj and I want to live in apartment together [when we are older] just the two of us. An apartment or a house would be good, but an apartment is fine. It is so we can go crazy by ourselves. Inklings are welcome. However, our apartment is going to be in Korea....
• This backspace key does not work so I keep having to go back and press delete.
• Humans can be fun.
That's it for now.
Thanks everyone for your comments. I'm sorry I have not been a very good friend to you all.
Have a great weekend!
Ever His,
Zel

Jul. 31, 2009 - Oh look, a spork.
Hi...I'm back...
If you didn't notice, I disappeared for a week. Yes, I was banned for procrastinating on something really important.
Well, I am glad to be back, although the break was kind of nice. I don't have much time, but I thought I'd drop by and leave a post just so you know that I'm not dead.
I must be off. We're watching Iron Man tonight. Yup, first time. Thanks so much for all your comments and PMs you guys, and I'm sorry I couldn't reply to them!
Be blessed,
Zel
p.s. I will be changing the background as soon as I find one that works...

Apr. 6, 2009 - Hallooo!!!!
Hmmm, I haven't been posting a lot lately. =\ Oh well, I'm here now!!! HUGS AND GRAPES TO EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!
*in a conversational British accent* I say, I have not told you about the wonderful tea party we went to! Ah me, how forgetful. It was a delightful affair!
Mumsy, Bj, Lady Flora, Chivalrous Dude, Little Pixie, and I went over to our friends house [do you remember woodchester?] for tea! We had loverly wheat-free cookies, which were quite delicious, grapes, tea, and of course, milk and sugar. *grins in an unladylike manner* haha, sorry. Don't know what came over me.
Anyhow, the tea was quite enjoyable! First, we would pick our teacups--our hostess had quite a selection--then we were seated. We said grace, and then we went around the table [in alphabetical order] saying why we had picked the teacup. That was very entertaining.
Then, we ate and drank, AND THEN, mum had me play...*dun dun DUN* my song. >:-\
You see, I wrote a song recently so, she had me play and sing it. *sighs* ..........I'm not sure if that sigh was because I am full, or because--oh never mind.
ANYWHOOO!!!!!!! *breaks accent* heehee. Thanks for everyone who commented on my last post about the kiwis, pickles, banans, etc. I'm not sure which won!!!
You know what? I LUV garage sales!!! haha, I just got about 5 outfits for $18! YOU CAN GET ONE SHIRT FOR $18!!! AND BOOK SALES!!! I LOVE BOOK SALES!!!
I got a hardcover "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte for $1, and an old, but still readable, "Robinson Crusoe" for free!
Okay, gotta get off now. Bj wants to watch her Korean Dramas! ;-D
Oh, and Bj thinks she's gonna get drunk because she ate some raw ****ake mushrooms. She was already half crazy because she and I were talking in "Chyah Language" and so she kind of went even crazier because she thought she was gonna get drunk and so while she was in her "happy place" I taught her that:
2+2=tadpole
dog+cat=mouse
up+down=mushroom
entmoot+frisbee=Tiki tiki tembo
mushroom+wicked bananamen=Charlie
I think I might be teaching her a little more. ;-D
Okay, G'bye!!!!
Anything you wanna say Bj???
bj:GOOD NIGHT HOLLYWOOD!!!!!!!!!!---NO, no, no no!
huh?
Be blessed,
Zel

Mar. 12, 2009 - My magical box, and magical bag are getting married.
Hallo!
So, the surgery went really well. I think. You see, I fell asleep for the 1/2 an hour it was happening.
First, the nurse cleaned it for about 5 min. while the other nurse was asking questions. Then, the questions nurse poked my hand a few times because her needle wouldn't go into my vein. Then she put a tube in my hand that w
as giving my hand some clear liquid, and mum and I had a conversation that went like this:
me: I can't believe there is a tube in my hand.
mum: well there wouldn't be a tube in your hand if you didn't have a needle stuck in your foot!
me: well. I thought they were supposed to take it out, not put something else in!!!
[mum was also taking pictures at that time =P]
Then, the other nurse/doctor/I forget came and asked more of the same questions, and wheeled me into the Operation Room.
There, I was moved to the table and then the doctors put two wing-like things on the sides of the table, and I put one arm up. I couldn't put the other arm up because I fell asleep. AND I WANTED TO BE AWAKE!
I guess they gave me too much of the IV. [the clear stuff in the tube in my hand]
Then, and hour after the surgery, I woke up and was really groggy and quite crazy. I kept talking and talking [so mum says] which is not what I usually do. [which is not talk] Plus, I was talking under my breath so they couldn't understand me anyways!!! Some of the things I said were like:
What happened? Did I have the surgery? I don't remember. I fell asleep. I only put one arm up. I didn't stay awake! They gave me too much of the stuff. I didn't go to my happy place.
Then, the nurse/doctor/i forget came and said:
nurse/doctor: You have such pretty hair. Did you ever cut it?
me: Yes, I cut it before, but not in a long time. Well, I did trim it just a little while ago, but I never actually cut it in about three years. It was three years wasn't it? I think so.
But remember, I was talking under my breath so it probably sounded more like this:
nurse/doctor: You have such pretty hair. Did you ever cut it?
me: murphgurlcmruvmroodicksicnmprhprhphpmdicoinglingurlngirln. henfmeifnrojekfnkglmurlphpmlring
mruigirpnghrngklpuglu lfiur gpuri.
So after I woke up, mum and I went home, and I was talking crazily on the phone. I don't know if it was under my breath or not though...Oh, and by the way the needle was 1-1.5 in, bent, and---*shudders* I think I'll save you from that picture...
Now, I have something that I'd like to share. I've seen this on a few blogs already, and thought I'd put it on this one too. It's An Invitation to Participate in Red Envelope Day
...perhaps you would like to participate in Red Envelope Day, on March 31, 2009.
Get a red envelope. You can buy them at Kinkos, or at party supply stores.
On the front, address it to:
President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW
Washington , D.C. 20500
On the back, write the following message.
"This envelope represents one child who died because of an abortion. It is empty because the life that was taken is now unable to be a part of our world."
We will mail the envelopes out March 31st, 2009.
Put it in the mail, and send it. Then forward this event to every one of your friends who you think would send one too. I wish we could send 50 million red envelopes, one for every child who died [in the U.S. ] before having a chance to live.
It may seem that those who believe abortion is wrong are in a minority. It may seem like we have no voice and it's shameful to even bring it up. Let us show our President and the world that the voices of those of us who do not believe abortion is acceptable are not silent and must be heard.
Barack Obama spoke at a Planned Parenthood Action Fund event, uttering the now infamous line, "Well, the first thing I'd do as president is, is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. [Applause.]
That's the first thing that I'd do."
An empty red envelope will send a message to President Barack Obama that there is moral outrage in this country over this issue [The Freedom of Choice Act, which will essentially "undo" every law currently in place to limit abortion in the U.S. (i..e., parental consent laws, parental notification, waiting periods, prohibition of transporting a minor girl across state lines to obtain an abortion,
etc.)]. It is a quiet, but clear message of protest.
If you are not familiar, you can read more
about The Freedom of Choice Act here:

And here is a quote from the President himself. I'm sure you've heard it. “My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you’ll join with me as we try to change it."
Just so you know, I have not looked at these link myself, and am not to be held accountable for anything that might be upsetting or offending in a any way.
One more thing. I read a review in The Attic on a book called Hinds' Feet on High Places. It was said to be a wonderful book, often overlooked for Pilgrim's Progress. Now, I haven't read Pilgrim's Progress, though I plan to, but I must say, Hinds' Feet on High Places is one of the best books I've ever read. Coming from me, that might not mean much, due to the fact that I think a lot of books are the best. But this one stands out, and if I had to choose a favorite book, this one would be in the top three, if not at top. [excepting the Bible of course.] Passing by Do Hard Things, Lotr, and Narnia.
This book has been really eye-opening and made many things clear to me, that before I had ignored, not understood, and most that I hadn't even thought of. I highly recommend this book to anyone who can get their hands on it.
Now, a couple pictures to give your poor eyes a rest from reading my long post.

Mar. 2, 2009 - I don't want a title, therefore, this is not a title. This is a merely a little box which says "Title" in front of it.

Let's see...
Last, LAST, Tuesday: I stayed up till 5:15 am reading Elsie Dinsmore by Martha Finley. WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE SO GOOD?!?!? heehee.

hmmm...what happened next...OH!
Wednesday: I did my speech entitled "Pirates, and Villains, and Ghosts, oh my!" I felt WAY more confident then the first time I read a speech! And this time I was shaking from nervousness, so you can only imagine my first speech! haha. Oh, and I tied for first for the "Nicest/best smiling in your speech." =D =D =D
The teacher said that in my first speech, he didn't know I could smile!
And I did a big bow at the end of my speech. =)
Thursday: BIBLE STUDY!!!! In case you didn't know, it's really a Bible Study for the homeschool mums in our church, but us kids get to go and have "work time" for an hour, and from about 10 or 11 am to usually 4pm we PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I am a weirdo!!! As if you didn't know that already.
Oh, and we left a little early that week, but we got to go to our friends Woodchester and Queen Beth's(not their real names!!!) house! =) Oh, we had a grand time! I made some flower halos for them, unfortunately, I only had time to make 3, but we will probably go back there eventually, and I'll make more, and we will benymphs again! =D
That's all I remember right now. =)
Oh, and our grandma is visiting to take care of our Uncle(her brother) who just had surgery on his heart. Please pray for him. But she has had time to make Bj and I a cloak each! She just needs to finish hemming them. =D Now I won't have to steal Gem's cloak! haha. My cloak will be brown and green, *sighs dreamily* and Bj's will be purple and gray.
hold on...be right back...the Chivalrous Dude needs help...

Hallo!!!
Guess what? Yesterday was sooooooo much fun!!!!!!!!!!!
haha, well...
First, we went to Bible Studies, well actually it's a Bible Study for all the homeschool mom's, and us kids have "work time" for one hour then the rest of the day we PLAY! heehee.
Then, I was picked about by Mrs. J- and she took me over to her house to visit Gem!!!
It was so much fun! And you know what? Gem has a dark blue, velvet cloak, it's so pretty!!! She let me wear it all day. =D And I have this purple "princess" (as everybody calls it) jacket that I let her wear.
Oh it was great! We had a bamboo fight, and she and I chased each other with a spray bottle trying to squirt each other. In and out of the doors, through the window, up and down the tree, and around the house! haha, and we blogged, because if you didn't notice the post below, we went onto each others' blog and put a post on.
The best part!!! Gem and I went out to walk her dog April around the block and we went out in the cloak and jacket. Plus we were barefoot! *giggles* And this guy was riding on a motorcycle up and down the street, and he stopped in his driveway and stared at us like we were crazy! *bursts out laughing*
Gem didn't see him so I had to tell her, but it was so funny!!! [aren't you so proud of me Pip!] HAHAHAHA!!!
The first "stranger" recognition of my craziness!!! =D =D =D
haha, it was wonderful!
Maybe if Gem sends me some of the pictures we took I can show you what our clothes looked like. No promises though. =) I'm not sure if Gem will email it to me. *gives Gem the "you-better-send-them-to-me" look* Okay,
Can you guess what time it is? Oh I know you know what it is! =D
TAG TIME!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was tagged by my big sis Pip! haha, this is ridiculous! in a can't-stop-laughing way! I am picking up from "He dashed for the exit of the cave, but found his way blocked by a huge, ginormous..."
Oh, btw, Bj says Hi!!
I tag: gelpenprincess!
