I received this award from Laura a little while ago and I forgot to put it up. Thank you so much Laura; I love it so much.  A thing about this award though:

Small update on school:

• I am doing a book called Writer's Inc for my Language Arts

• I am supposed to use a book called Spelling Power for my spelling-my favorite!-but, on the placement test it said something about me knowing most of the words adults and kids use commonly, and therefore further study of spelling is not needed at this time. In other words............ I finished the book. *sobz* It's my favorite....

• Math, well...the book I need for math did not come in yet-I think I'm doing Algebra-, and so for now I'm doing an old geometry book that I never finished. *does not like math*

• My sisters and I have just started learning Latin, so that will be interesting...

• OUR FRIENDS LENT US THE BBC PRIDE & PREJUDICE AND I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE IT!!! of course, that has nothing to do with school...

• I am doing Ancient History also, and the curriculum I am using is the Beautiful Feet books. Right now, I am assigned to read Streams of Civilization, which is a very interesting book, but it's a lot of information to take in at one time...

• Is there anything else? Oh yes, I will be doing Japanese with Rosetta Stone. [no! not a person!]

1. Are you wearing socks today? No, I can't stand socks, unless I'm sliding on the kitchen floor with them. [This is Taylor's answer. I completely agree.]

2. When you can't go to sleep, what do you do? Read until I get a headache and fall asleep or sing my heart out [very quietly], or imagine the Inklings meeting.

3. Which do you like better, rain or snow? RAIN!

4. Have you ever had Ben & Jerry's ice cream?...no. Not Ben & Jerry's. I've had regular and home made ice cream, but not Ben & Jerry's.

5. Do you like bananas? Yuppers. 

6. Do you live on a farm? *sigh* No.

7. Would you say you're more city or country? I grew up in a more City environment, but for the past 3 yrs. we've lived in the country. I LOVETHS IT!!!! Country!!!!

8. Do you like Dr. Pepper or Coke better? neither. I'm not a soda person.

9. Do you like to text? HAHAHAHA! On my nonexistent phone? No..I don't like to text. And if I ever get a phone [doubtful]  I'm not texting unless absolutely necessary.

10. Do you have any friends whose name starts with a G? I probably do, but I can't think of any right now. There is a friendly Enemy [more Bj's than mine]  but I don't think any Friend.

11. Do you own any fancy clothes? Do you count dress-up clothes as fancy? Then yes. 

12. Have you ever met anyone that is from another country?....yeah. My Grandparents. And probably a few other peoples...

13. What is the first thing you notice about people when you see them or meet them? Their hair, or their clothes. I don't know why their hair. But their clothes to see if they are modest or dresses inappropriately. Also if there is something really Different about them, then that Difference.

14. Do you have your own bedroom? Sort of. I don't sleep in it. Actually, it's part my sister's bedroom but she doesn't use it either. I at least have all my books and clothes in it.

15. Do you ever laugh at stupid things? HA! yeah. I do.

16. If you had the chance to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?  MIDDLE-NARNIA!!! oh wait, in the World. Aw, that doesn't count does it. =P Then....someplace different.

17. What color is your house? Inside or outside? Outside is white with green windows [around the windows not the windows are green], and the inside is mostly white with a green kitchen. We like green and white.

18. Is your room clean at the moment? kind of...

In other news, we had a wonderful Father's day! Our church had a contest for any children who'd like to honor their dad. So, my siblings and I entered, "Why Our Dad is...Special" Or something like that. Guess who won? *grins* Yes, our Daddy won and all of us went to sit in the front of the church on a really comfy couch, with snacks [CHOCOLATE!!!], and a few drinks!
I am really glad that our Dad was picked. We hoped it showed him just a little of our appreciation for all that he does for us.

Let's see...Oh yes! I'm reading Bleak House!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha, if you read on Taylor's blog, you'd see that she just finished it. I just got it from the library. *s excited* I haven't gotten far though.

More news. Chelise has read my last few posts and says I have done a good job explaining the MMP. Especially since I only had about 1/3 of the facts. I think she's lying. haha, I don't believe I'm making that much sense. But I'm flattered nonetheless.

Now, as I told you, I will be writing about Chelise. [by the way, if you are reading this, I am not giving you too much credit. You really did an amazing job.]

She really did! The letters "written" from both the students and Mr--  were written very eloquently, the "Headlines" from the newspaper were quite realistic, and the journal entries were also written with great care.

I was quite surprised with how well Chelise understood "me," as "my" journal entries were written very like how I would write it.

The Mystery itself was very intrigueing. There was, as I said before, the character, his/her request/petition to Mr--, his refusal or ignoral [or his writing the wrong address], the motive, and the solution.

I am very thrilled with how well the Murder Mystery Party was played out. Although our Party was cut a little short [due to the arriving of the parents], I can say that I honestly believe everyone had a fantastic time!

I am really, really impressed with all the work that Chelise put into it, and the time in which she finished it.

Chelise has also inspired me. Now I want to write a MMP *grins* But, she has also inspired me with my story-writing and songs.

If you remember, she said I was writing a book called "My Two-Edged Sword." Well, now I've got this whole plot for it. *giggles* She also said I was writing a song called "Following Where You Lead Me." I have some of that written already!

haha, all in all, I am delighted that I was able to attend the Murder Mystery Party. I got to learn more about my fellow speech students, and I had a really great time. Plus, I wasn't nearly as akward as when I was reading a speech. *smiles*

Although this is a long post already, I still need to ramble a bit more.

Today was...it had it's ups and downs. Thankfully, there wasn't too many downs. You know, I've never liked roller coasters. Especially ones with BIG drops. *shivers as a chill creeps up her spine*

haha, but I'm getting off track. [no pun intended. That is, if you got it.. If you didn't, then nevermind]

Hm, so a few highlights of the day were...*grins and gets butterflys* The butterflies are from excitement. Not nervousness. nervousness?  Is that the right word? Anyhoo, *grins again* today we danced to Crocodile Rock. It's such a fun song! Lady Flora and I had such fun dancing. What made it even better was we were spinning and sliding....on the Super Sliders. *giggles* You know, the ones that you put furniture on and it makes it easier to slide 'em to where you want them. We are not exactly furniture...nor are we fugure skaters so we wer bumping around all over. But we drew a great deal of entertainment from it.

We also went for a walk. And danced a litttle more. *grins* Well, I was mostly doing the dancing on the walk. I was still running on the adrenaline from the Crocodile Rock! I was holding a nectarine from the backyard and Chivalrous Dude saw it. Oh, by the way, I've taken to calling him Bob. Something to do with Dav Pilkey

Anyways, Bob saw the nectarine and so of course, he wanted some. And of course, I wouldn't give him any. *grins* Partly because it wasn't washed, and partly because he had to skip with me first. haha, so we went up the street and he was a good, loving little brother and complied with his  crazy big sister's wishes and skipped with her and held her hand. So when we got back to our house I ran inside the house and washed it. Then we went down the street and I gave half of the nectarine to him. I love the little cutie!

When we got back to our house, Mum let Flora, Thumbelina, Bob, and I  be loony and let us dance in the church yard. *grins*  Thumbelina, Flora, and I were spinning like crazy-which we are-and I must say, today was fun.

Other than the fact that it was sweltering hot. But that's no matter. When looking back I will only remember us siblings having fun together. It's too bad Bj wasn't with us; but she wen inside before we went to the church. Maybe next time.

Ooh! Guess what I got from the library? THE PIANO BOOK FOR THE TWO TOWERS!!!!!!! My favorite songs to play are Rohan and Gollum's Song.  I am looking to see if our library has any other Lotr song books, or Narnia books but so far I haven't found any. 

*laughs* Right now I am listening to Korean Drama music. It's ths sad song from "Yi-San." By he way, don't ever watch that. My mum said, and I quote, "I have never cried so much in  my life!"  I have to admit it is a really pretty song and I love playing it on the piano, but I am being stubborn. I simply will not hum it or sing it. [Don't tell Bj that I like the song. I'll never hear the end of it. But she said she hasn't read my blog in a long time and this is an espeecially long post. Maybe she'll....not see this. SO DON"T YOU BE TELLING HER! ]

I guess you could say I'm prejudiced again Korean Drama songs, but I can't help it. =^/ Oh my goodness gracious. Do you realize, if I counted correctly, that is the first smiley face I've made in this entire post? I did put a lot of asterisks, but still. *laughs in surprise* Quite an accomplishment. It's not that I don't like smilies, but sometimes, they are sometimes not quite...dignified. *shakes head at herself* Yeah. I'm being weird. I know.

*looks @ the time*11:48pm. I suppose I must be off to bed. Or at least Bleak House. G'bye!

Rambling time [otherwise known as..RUN!!!]:
Today we went looking at model homes. They were quite lovely-as one would expect-although some were a little squishy. You know, it seemed crowded. And that was just our family! Imagine if we had guests over...
But Charles Dickens was so cute!!! Every time we went into a different house [with stairs] he'd run over to the bottom and lay down on it and say "Oooh!!! Ooooh!!!" It was adorable!! He was so excited while running around the rooms. I especially loved some of the closets! There was one that was shaped like an L. The first part [when covered with coats] would conceal a space which would be a perfect reading alcove! Oh it reminded me of the Wardrobe to Narnia! Mind you, we are not actually moving, but it was fun to see [and sigh] over all the pretty houses! *laughs*

Hmmm, what else can I bore you to tears with? My song? nah. My stories? nah. Your ears? ew. OH! I haven't told you have I? Grandpa is here!!! Okay, I might've told you that...Anyhoo, we've been having a great time with him! I never knew he was so fun, funny, and as Lady flora says, "I never knew he was so fast!"haha, it has been great and we are going to really miss him when he goes home.

I must be going now. Nice rambling with ya!

Apr. 22, 2009 - Don't sneeze unless you have a tissue. Unless sneezing is inevitable, you may. As long as you don't use my sleeve as a tissue.

Geez. I've not been posting much lately!!!
Hmmm, let me bring you up to date on some stuff.

• Little Pixie has to go to the dentist today. She had a tooth pulled a little while ago so I believe it's a check up of sorts.

• I have a "Keepers Class" today also. All the girls in the class have to bring $10 today to make pens with flowers on the top. [some of which we will not be taking home. =P $10 is a lot]
  

• Today the grandparents are coming over from Hiwiiwii [Hawaii] to stay for 8 days and we are in a frenzy trying to clean up. So, I am not sure if I will be posting that often.
  

• .I got 20 comments on the last post!!!! Thanks so much everyone!!

• Oh my goshness it's been HOT these past few days!!!! I thought it was SPRING!!!! It was 82 last NIGHT. Thankfully things will be cooling down the rest of the week. *sighs happily*

Mar. 19, 2009 - Gossamer Hair of Mushrooms and Cinderella.

AAAAAARGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I"M TRYING TO WRITE THIS!!!!!!!!!!! IT BETTER WORK!!!!!!!!!

heehee, anyways...yesterday I had "fun" giving some IMPROMPTU SPEECHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EMPhASIS ON THE speechES!!!!

Yup, I had speech class yesterday and since there was no homework from last class we did Impromptu.
i had  "What were Your First Memories." and "What is one of your least favorite Sounds?" I mean, they SEEM like easy topics, but come on, YOU ARE ON THE SPOT TRYING TO THINK OF A WELL STRUCTURED SPEECH ABOUT CINDERELLA WAVING TO YOU!!!!! [one of my first memories.]
Thank goodness I didn't get a hard topic like "What Ghost Would You Like To Meet? [i'd say Jack =)]" or "Why Are School Buses Yellow?" [this speech done by The Comedian who said it  was to make students feel happy, and that there was a steel shortage and that they used banana peels]. haha, I wore my cloak to class--which I shall put a picture up of very soon--and my friend said that I really did look crazy,. =)
I think that going up and saying, well literally BLURTING out my speech-like rambling, was a bit easier than sitting and waiting wondering Should I go next???

Jan. 27, 2009 - bloop-de-bloop

*sings VERY loudly* I'M BAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *is waiting for the hugs*
hahaha, hallo everyone!
So, yes. I am back from our trip! We had a great time at Froggyland!!! (our codename for Disneyland. Don't ask me why it is froggyland cause I don't really know.)

Unfortunately, we didn't get to go into the theme park. But that's alright. We still had a fantastic time! You see, the reason we went was because mum and dad had a few functions there and we got to go along. =D So while they went to the functions, we(that is me and my sibs) got to go to a "children's activies" which was held near... uumm...oh! Near Goofy's Kitchen!!!(the restaurant)
So there was face painting, and decorating cookies(yes! we got to eat 'em!!!), guitar hero, dance contests(with prizes!), movies playing nonstop(well almost), puppet shows, magic shows,  lots of different crafts, and a lot more! It was spectacular!
We also went to Downtown Disney a few times, and we got to see the hat,
haha. =)
And we got to go to the movies!!! Yay!!! We saw Inkheart. =) It was pretty good. Bj wanted to see Hotel for Dogs. She was outvoted. =D We went with some of mum and dad's friends.
You know, something that would've REALLY improved the movie was if I DIDN'T HAVE THE SNIFFLES!!!!! humph.

Three bad things about long hair

1. People can tie you to a fence with it (this has happened to me)

2. After you wash it and try to put it in a towel, it hangs down on your back and gets your shirt wet.

3. To others, it is a toy that you pull, and sound comes out like "OOWWWWW!!!!!!!"

Three Good things about long hair.

1. It is a good weapon

2. You can hang on it (I've done that on my bunk bed. It is fun.)

3. People say it is lovely whether it is tangled or smooth. =D

Yes, I am posting AGAIN and you have to hear me ramble on again!!!! You don't want to read it? Well, you have to! Cause I have already have you caught in my spell! You can't stop! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

Actually, this post is more of a thank you to everyone who needs thanking. :D

Okay, first things first. Thank you to narnialover95 for the spectacular new template!!! She did a magnificent job right?  Thanks so much. =)
