Sep. 16, 2009 - Is the popcorn gone?

Hallo Everyone. *baa baa [sheepish] smile* I'm so sorry I have not been posting and keeping up with all of your blogs!
Oh, and yes, I know. I even missed to Young Maiden's Daybook's in a row! I apologize for that too. Let's see...
I have been writing a few songs lately, and since i have a few of them ready [with music too.], I will be recording them!! *giggles excitedly* I am going to record them at my friend's house. Her Dad has a studio and they have been so kind as to let me use it! Oh, you might know my friend by the way, on HSB she goes as Gem. Go ahead and check out that link!

Also, I have been doing a few writing projects for my writing co-op. For this week's assignment I wrote a story based on 'The Miller, His Son, and His Donkey." I believe it's an Aesop. I might post it, but not now. Right Now, I will be doing a tag that my dearest LLT tagged me with a while ago which I have not got around to doing yet.

THE RULES:
Pick 3 book characters (from 3 different books), post a picture of each and write 3 interesting facts about that person.

Okay. Sounds fun! Hm, first character...

Grace-and-Glory from Hinds' Feet On High Places by Hannah Hurnard. Sorry, no picture for this one.

1.  Her name was changed from Much-Afraid to Grace-And-Glory when she arrived at the High Places. [I think, sorry I need to refresh my memory soon.]
2. She has two companions named Suffering and Sorrow whose names were changed to Joy and Peace.
3. She used to live in the Valley of Humiliation by now lives with the King in the High Places in the Kingdom of Love.

Character #2:
Meg [Margaret]  March from Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

1. She is the oldest of four girls. [like me! Except I have a brother too.]
2. She comforts and "buddies" with Amy mostly, while Jo and Beth comfort each other.
3. She marries a man named John and they have twins named Margaret and John aka  Daisy and Demi so as not to confuse them with their parents.

Feb. 26, 2009 - Title.

Oh geez. This is my third time writing this. My internet suddenly closed after I was ALMOST done!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! humph. >:-\

I'll write this later. But since I am on here, I'll do the tags I've been tagged with!

I'm starting of from "The man knew it was his chance to..."

There was once a young man walking along the stormy road on the eve of the darkest Friday of the month. His blue eyes almost glowed in his tan face, and his long legs took wide strides over the ripped turf. Destruction was coming, something shivered in the air like silk in the wind, and the man could sense that it was not good. His fists clenched as he walked over the countryside, away from his home and his family, away from everyone he had ever trusted. Life was a trivial thing, so he thought. Especially his life. He wanted it to change and indeed, it HAD to change before the wildness was broken free from the gates of whatever stood between him and his new life. Something was coming, he could feel it in the ground beneath his feet and heard it in the rain drumming the bare tree branches. The man suddenly stopped and turned around, unsheathing his dagger. He was stunned to find that Batman was standing right behing him. He jumped and screamed a little. Batman gave a cruel laugh and glared down at the man, one of his stoopid little ears thingys falling over his eye. He hit it back up with  a annoyed slap.
  "Ya wanna see how high I can fly?" Batman asked in a high squeeky annoying voice
  "Uh...sure..." the man said
   Batman gave a small leap looking quite like a penguin.
  "Oh!" He squeeked, " I think I need a running jump." Batman ran to the top of the building and jumped off
   "WATCH MEEEEE!!!!!!!!!" He yelled as he dropped at a rapid speed towards the asphalt, and, the instant he hit the ground, looked more like a pancake than a man-bat.
"Um, Mr. Batman sir, are you alright?" the man asked, not in much of a concerned tone.

"Oh, sure, I'm just fine," he replied right before he died. He lay there, flattened and rather pathetic looking.

The man knew it was his chance to do the chicken dance! Clucks filled his mind and he started off flapping his arms, and bobbing his head! Then all of a sudden, he heard a loud creaking sound, then a gigantic crash. He dropped to his knees, and crawled to the edge of the building he was standing on. Pieces of windows, and a few chunks of wall flew through the air.

"What the-" He bit back a curse. Then amid all the glinting glass, the man saw a thin, colorful figure falling toward the pancake which used to be Batman.

"BAAAAAMAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The man knew it was his chance to run away to Germany.  He had always wanted to go to Germany.  So he turned on his heal and hailed a cab.  However no cabs would stop for him because of the Batman pancake on the ground next to him.  Suddenly Robin, Barman's partener, jumped down next to him.

"What did you do to Batman?" Robin shouted angrily.

"N-nothing!  He just jumped," the man said.  He was now rather afraid of what Robin would do to him.

However Robin never did anything to to him because after a close look at the Batman pancake, he anounced that that wasn't Batman but an imposter!

"I hate imposters!" Robin said.

Suddenly a semi-truck went out of control and came at the man and Robin a t a frightening pace.  Then at the last second a squirrel ran out into the road and the truck let out a horrible screeching. The semi-truck came to a stop with a squeal. The man, whose name by the way was Ferdinand, was shaking with fear. Robin on the other hand was unfazed, and his hands were on his hips. Robin laughed then stopped suddenly, and fell onto his face, on the rocky road. Then as if by some miracle, marshmallows popped up out of the asphalt, and nuts was scattered all over. Ferdinand...

Feb. 3, 2009 - Open Skies =D

Hallo Everypeoples!!! Just thought I'd do a little update, and a few tags. =D

Okay, update first. Hmmm...school is alright. The curriculum we are using is called SOS(switched-on schoolhouse). It is all done on the computer, which I think, is a little more organized, but not really, family style, you know? haha, what I mean is, you don't actually get to discuss and DO it with your sibs and teacher. =) I still think it's a pretty good though. I have math, language arts, science, history & geography, and Bible! That's another good thing about this system. It is a Christian curriculum and mentions God and Creation in science, h&g, and even language arts!
I am also going  to try, I am also going to read the Bible in a year. I got the schedule from Ness. So thanks to you Ness! I am really enjoying reading the Bible, I've tried before and have never got past Exodus. I am going to do it this year though!!!

In other family news, my little brother is potty training. Yay! We have a timer set for every ten minutes and when it goes off we ask him if he needs to go to the bathroom. If he says yes, we go. If he says no, sometimes we still make him go. =D He is doing pretty good.

Hallo, I was banned from blogging for three days. My sentence has just ended today. That is all I am going to say about that.
