Easy Manicotti

Posted in Recipes

This simple and speedy recipe is also a favorite with my family.  I usually serve with garlic bread and either salad, fresh green beans or broccoli.  This also reheats very well in the microwave!

Quick and Easy Manicotti

1 lb ground beef

1 jar spaghetti sauce (26 oz-- we like Prego traditional)

1 package manicotti noodles (8 oz-- we use Barilla)

1 package String Cheese (12 ct)

1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease 9x13 pan.

2. Boil large pot of water and cook manicotti noodles until tender (approx 9-10 min).

3. Brown ground beef, drain fat, and add jar of spaghetti sauce.

4. Place one piece string cheese in each manicotti tube.

5. Cover entire dish with sauce and bake for 30 minutes.

David raves about this. He said it was his favorite thing to eat at your house. Now, like you are really getting your men to eat the green stuff?????? You and some of my other friends are why I miss Houston NOT THE WEATHER. Who else would have jumped at the chance to clean out her coupon box with you?

One Thanks for this awesome EASY manicotti recipe...being Italian I love all things in red sauce anyways, and this looks like a great recipe for my daughter to try out.

I was reading your 9/11 post, and we too live very close to the airport and I remember that eerie feeling of not hearing or seeing planes for ever! Then I remember the first thing I saw back in the sky was a double sided patrol helicopter. I remember I called my mom and it was almost a relief to actually see something flying again!

I'm glad you had a good cruise! Hope your having a good day!

We had this last night for dinner, Princess, 10, did most all of the work. It was so easy and wonderful. We added some shredded cheese on top--we love cheese.
