I've got a newsflash for y'all. My little guys are starting to grow up! Bit by bit and before I even realized it, they went from newborn baby blobs to crawling critters, from walkers to runners to riding their bikes, reading and even making me breakfast!
Perhaps you mommy's of teenagers would cringe a little, but this mommy of an 8yo, 6yo and 3yo is currently reveling in the delightful deliciousness of a breakfast that someone else prepared and served me! Canned biscuits with jelly and a big ole glass of milk never tasted so good! (Now if I could just trust them enough to make me a latte...)

Great article, Marsha. And hey, do we get to see a sample of your chart? I'm trying to design something for chores right now. I would be very interested in seeing yours for assignments. I'm so laid back, but am realizing that with four I might need to get a bit more structure into our day. My two year old is my biggest struggle right now because he THINKS he can do everything already.

Would you be able to post an example of your weekly goal chart? I'm a visual learner! I have to see exactly how people do things as I'm not creative enough to envision it myself. Thanks!
Blessings,
Shannon

Hi Marsha,
I, too, have noticed that my 3 year old is doing things that my older son wasn't doing yet at that age. I think that when it is the first one, not only do we have more free time to do more, but we don't realize what they are capable of until we have experienced it.
I love the idea of the challenge! I am going to make that my focus for the next week or so.
