April showers bring May flowers.

In Time of Silver Rain

In time of silver rain
the earth
puts forth new life again,
green grasses grow
and flowers lift their heads,
and over all the plain
the wonder spreads
of life, of life, of life!

-Langston Hughes

Those are beautiful pictures! We've been finally seeing signs of spring up this way. We've been in this house for 2 years now, and today we just discovered some crocus along the side of our house. I'm not sure if they just didn't come up last year... or we just weren't very observant. :-)

RYC: Yes, classes for our imaginative son in computer graphics might be a good thing. He loves to create things, so that would give him more outlet.

How beautiful! I especially love that you found a nest of baby birds. I really don't think I've ever found a nest of baby birds. Maybe someday, if I just keep my eyes open...

Thanks for the comments you've been leaving on my blog, school for us. Just this morning I figured out how to get to your blog! All I'd seen before was that you were part of a group blog. So, I'll have to browse your blog now. :-)

We're still waiting for spring here......after a day of rain, it's cleared off enough to see lots of blue sky!

And baby birds too??? We have a nest out in the top of our back patio overhang. It's been used twice by birds.....really neat for the kids, and if we open our curtains, we can see other "tenants" hopping around checking things out, seeing it they want to move in.

We also have had some birds out front in the feeder. Sparrows!

Reminds me that He loves me more than the sparrow!

Thanks for the great pictures!
