TIMBER!!! and Birthday Wishes

My husband is a handsome man, a manly man, a handyman and now a lumberjack. His shorts, however, are just one thing: distracting (and I'm being kind by limiting it to that one word).
So try to look at the giganto tree crashing down to the earth and not at his bright red shorts running across the yard.
Pretty cool, eh? I'm glad no one lost a limb or head over that.
Anyhoo, I would now like to take this opportunity to wish my very funny, very beautiful and very fabulous friend JenIg a very happy HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Why don't you stop by and tell her happy birthday too?
And speaking of birthdays, don't forget to please PLEASE spread ze word about my Bloggy Birthday Bash that will be going on next week! It will be a la chickadee style since I stole that brilliant idea from her. I try to swipe good ideas from other people at least once a week-- and she's always got good ideas over there. It saves more energy than trying to come up with your own good ideas. And it makes me look good.
I will be giving stuff away all week, all you have to do is comment, and it will even be open to all my international friends (not that I have a worldwide following or anything-- but very cool international friends, you know who you are!). :-)

Thanks for including us faaaar flung friends too! :o) I get tired of asking if I can join in different contests after awhile, so unless people say I can I don't usually bother! Thanks for thinking us little old me! LOL! Count me in - I wouldn't miss it! (and I would have come and said hi even if I couldn't have won anything!)

I agree--chickadee is a blogging diva in my book! I almost feel guilty sometimes because I have taken a few ideas from her myself. But she's so gracious I don't think she minds.... :)

Your boys sure sounded like they loved watching that tree fall. We had to take out a number of pine trees because of beetles a few years ago and of course that meant no school that day. We couldn't study with all that excitement going on in our own yard!
