Limes and Lemons

Since I still have a couple hours of Wednesday left, I thought I'd say hi to all of y'all and show you this picture.
I'm sure y'all have seen better, but to me eet ees beeeeeeautiful!!! Look at the bokeh in that picture! It's not twinkly or anything, but perty good for a first timer with a new camera. :-)
Well, I'm sorry I haven't been able to visit all of y'all like I've been wanting. Things have been super-dee-duper busy around these parts... But I expect I'll have a little more time on my hands in the coming weeks to catch up and sit a spell.
If I don't talk to y'all again, have a wonderful holiday weekend! Eat lots of BBQ or whatever it is that you do on weekends like this!

Of course, I had to click over to figure out what in the world that was first! I had noticed Juliestew mentioning bokeh this week too. You photo people are just too cool.
Personally I'm just trying to figure out how to get some decent pictures of baby chicks, kittens, and a stray puppy. If I don't figure it out, I think I'll just post bad pictures and hope the cuteness comes through anyway!

Bokeh is one of my favorite words! People just sound cool when they say it (or write it). And when I use it it's like I'm part of the in crowd. You know, the crowd that's full of cool people like you. Have fun with your new camera! I've enjoyed catching up with you! There hasn't been a lot of time for blog-reading around these parts lately.
