Supporting the Little Guys
As you start your perusing and purchasing your curriculum for the next school year, please consider Hallie's words over at Blue Thistle and support the little guys whenever you can. I can honestly say that the personal touch from Hallie and other family owned companies have made a world of difference to me. Not only their advice and recommendations, but in the little things-- like handwritten notes! As a homeschooling community, we should support one another any way we can.
One more thing... please be courteous and polite to others all the time. There really IS a person at the other end of that 800 number or customer service e-mail address! There is no need to curse, be rude or just plain ruin someone else's day just because you are feeling grumpy or entitled. Being kind gets you VERY far!
Okay, end of rant. Thank you for your attention. Now go shopping! LOL And I almost forgot about HERE too!

Greetings,
Thanks for your comment it was fun to hear from you... yes, I agree! The fairygodmother earrings would be fun to wear all the time...
I enjoyed reading your post about helping out the "little guys" first... that is very true.
Good point about being kind too, always a good reminder.
So are you enjoying a nice summer? I am busy sewing on more costumes lol... and we are getting lots of summer weather (not often found in oregon) so the veggie garden is growing well.
Well, I best go...sorry that comment was rather rambeling.. - Brielle

I wrote a very similar thing about purchasing curriculum yesterday, in a new homeschooler's manual our group is producing.
I ended with, "Give grace at all times." :)

Great post! I really appreciate your reminding the readers to support the little guys in the homeschool market.
I appreciated your post on my blog about the "Experiencing Bible Science" book. The table of contents is rather lengthy, but I can give you some of the experiements listed.
Noah's Rainbow (Colors of the Rainbow)
Sower's Story (Jar Garden)
Fisherman's Ships (Sinking Ships)
There are 21 activities/Bible stories.
Hope this answers your question!
Have a blessed day! Tami
