Kid haha for the day

Posted in Kids-Family-Funnies-Etc

I have to write this down so I don't forget.  At 7 years old, I wonder how many more funny things a kid can say.  Because y'know, sometimes when they're much older, weird or wrong things they say just aren't quite funny as much as they are reason to question how well you lernz em in homeschool! LOL

David and I went on a date yesterday-- and we didn't go to Sam's Club!  What were we thinking?  That's okay because the roster of places we went included the likes of Academy, Ross, Starbucks for me, Exxon for him (for an Icee!), Best Buy, IKEA and Korea Gardens restaurant (YUMMY).

When we got back we were talking to the babysitter.  She was laughing when she told us that Tank was excited about going to the lake on Monday (we're going with several other families from church next week).

Tank was hopping up and down and said:

I just can't wait to go FISHING!!!  Oh it's going to be so much fun!  And you know what else?  If we catch enough we can cook them up for supper and have fried chicken!  I LOVE FRIED CHICKEN!!!

Okay, now you just tell me that wasn't hilarious talking up there.  Go ahead.  It was funnay, no?

He is as much of a nut as him Momma! LOL! Now are you going to work on Life Science in school this year so that he can learn that chickens don't live under water and that when you catch a fish and cut it up it is still a fish and doesn't change into a chicken?? :o)

Love it! Now, if everyone would look at fish and other more nutritional foods that way, maybe we'd all become a little healthier. Broccoli could become ice cream! Wow! Maybe you could market this! :-)

Maybe that isn't really funny though, huh?

Yes, that's so funny! I was thinking the same thing -- how many more years of these cute sayings do I have? But at nine, Sprite still cracks me up. The latest very funny thing, lik you, I really must document.

And your comment about running away with one of the Chinese men showing his belly really cracked me UP!

AS IF!!

Marsha!
I've missed my visits here. I am a bad friend!!! and an even worse blogger.

However, I am so glad I came here for a visit today. That is the cutest and funniest thing. I laughed thinking that I have a child that may come up with stuff like that. LOVE THEM!

I will try to stop by again soon so I can catch up on what is going on with you and your family.

Many Blessings,
Maria

There's just something about boys. Really, they seem to say funnier things than girls! Luck you, you have three of them. Better start writing a book of what they say!

Nothing like things that come out of the mouths of babes. I wish I would remember to carry a notebook around with me for all the things my kiddos say.

Aug. 11, 2008 - Chicken Fish

Posted by missionsmom

This is too funny. My kiddos also love to fish and fry 'em up. One time we were having a fish fry with my sister and her family. She told her little daughter it was chicken because she wanted her to eat it. My kids were so confused. The next time we fried fish, they asked, "Is this the same chicken fish we had last time?" So now we never have fish, we always have CHICKEN fish!
