Wot is a word!

Posted in Kids-Family-Funnies-Etc

I can't believe it!  I found out today- ahem, while playing too many rounds of WordTwist on Facebook- that wot is a word!!!  It is the 3rd person archaic form of the word wit or wat (depending on the source), meaning to know or be aware of.  Hmmm... go figure.  Sounds deep and thought provoking, huh?

So Christian singing "everybody wants to WOT" kinda sorta made sense.

I find that to be quite hilarious this morning and just had to share! :-)

My latest 'addiction' is PathWords on Facebook and I have been so surprised at some of the words that are actually words! I have not been as enterprising as you and looked them up though--I just took the points and ran! :)

I love that video. I think the guitar is almost as big as him! :-)
We are increasing our vocabulary via scramble. I think that it counts as an English lesson, right?

What a smart little cookie. Glad you got that on video. That guitar *is* twice as big as he is.

I just got a notice tonight that "Marsha Drews beat your personal best in Word Twist and now ranks 3rd among her friends." Don't shame me too bad! LOL

See you on FB~

Oh that sweet video made me smile. I've never played (was it word) twist....but I will shamelessly use "WOT" the next time D and I have one of our super duper ultra competitive boggle matches ;o)

He's always accusing me of making up words and pulling out the dictionary.....true, I am guessing half the time...BUT you'd be amazed how many actually end up being in there!

Marsha I hope you have a beautiful Christmas.
Hugs,
M~

I have gotten a lot of words on Pathwords because of reading the Bible. Wot is used 6 times in the OT and 4 times in the NT!
