The benefits to lazy...

Posted in Good Ideas and Interesting Stuff

Sometimes a little lazy goes a long way-- at least when it comes to a fun breakfast.  Because if it requires a lot of effort when it's early in the morning (okay, DO NOT look at the clock in the background!), then we will never get fancier than a bowl of cereal. :)

You are such a FUN mom. Do you only do these kinds of things so that you can blog about something or are you actually this awesome?! Don't answer. I KNOW you're cool. All right... you have assured and comforted me in my moment of mid-life crisis. What I MEANT was, that thirties to me seems the ideal age (regardless of how many act who completely abuse the term)! Thirties means you have some life experience, but you have a lot of life left in ya. Of course, I plan on taking advantage of every year I'm given, all the way to 90! - hopefully the Lord will come to get us before then. Micah and I were discussing what average age our bodies will be in their glorified state... I thought 20s, he said 30s... The last glimpse of my pre-baby-occupied-body was in my twenties... so that's my only reference. I wonder if I would have maintained my fitness level if I hadn't of had kids til I was 30... oh my, what a terrible thought. I can't imagine the last 11 years without having ever had kids until now!!
Okay. It is WAY late here. Good thing it's Saturday tomorrow. No school!
I hope you have an EXCELLENT Saturday,
Your friend Amy in Peru

Oh my word. I just noticed that that is aerosol pancake batter. What WILL they come up with next?!

I cannot believe what I have just seen. I have just realized that I really am in Timbuktu.

What do they do to that to get it in the can? Is that healthy?

What will they come up with next?!?! Since I live in a country where I can't even buy 'Bisquick' type of mix and have to make pancakes from scratch - even a box would count as a 'lazy' morning here - hahahaha!

I can't complain too much though. We managed a long awaited trip to Krispie Kreme yesterday so we enjoyed donuts for breakfast today! YUMMY!!!!

I think that is even lazier than your breakfast since it didn't involve a frying pan or even 'me' for that matter! LOL! The kids got them out of the box themselves! Now THAT is lazy! :o)

Actually this is an upscale breakfast for me. If I had the notion to cook breakfast during the week it DOES involve cereal and a spoon. (who am I kidding...sometimes there's no spoon even!)

You're a fun mama.

You ARE a fun mom!

I didn't even know they had such a thing....I've seen shakeable pancake batter in a jug, but not spray pancake batter, and wow, it's even Organic! What will they think of next?

Breakfast here begs to be an upscale event, and sometimes it is, but you know, it's most of the time whatever you can find.

Not so fun.

Take care!
