Wordless Wednesday - Civil War Comic Books

Posted in School Stuff

When I was little, we used to check out all the Garfield and Peanuts comic books we could find at our rinky dink base library.  But that was back in the old days.  Nowadays, however, look what the latest comics have turned up!

Graphic Novel History: Civil War Set 1 and Set 2.

Oh my! He is getting so big...and handsome! And those are some very cool comic books! Where did you find those? I've never seen anything like that before. I must be living in the closet ;)

I never knew there was such a thing as Civil War comic books... guess that's what I get for having only girls. However, I think my oldest would *love* this.

I just bought my OWN set. If my girls (and son) will read and RE read Garfield and Calvin, than they can read and RE read some history!

Samuel LOVES these, even at 10 he will reread them. There are TONS in the library for just about everything american historical.

These have peaked his interest, and he has gone an research that historical period more indepth because of them.

I love that!

I ordered the 2 sets, but it only came with the even #'s. Is that how yours came? Do I need to order the odd numbers separately.
