New Beginings ~ Yellow, Pink & Blue

Greetings!

As you all can see, I've updated my template.. I managed to do it all in one night, and I'm quite happy about that fact. I really like the colors. I was wanting to make a new template for a little while now, but I loved the picture I had as my header so much. It really seemed to convey the whole "running the earth, watching they sky" message so well. But then my mom made a new header for her blog (which has yet to be put on there --my fault) and I got inspired to make my own. So viola! (little french lingo there for ya. ;) )

So, first off... I was awarded!! I was given the "E for Excellence" award by LittleSparrow. I am SO humbled & thankful & excited, all at once! Thank you, Kori! I want to award... GiftedGirl, my first blog-friend and a true encouragment, she is entertaining and completely focoused on Christ. Also, I'd like to award AnAmericanGirl. Hannah always has fun posts about her life and is eager to please the Lord --you can tell just by reading one entry. Lastly, I'd like to award ArtisticFlare, who is a great blogger! She, also, is very fun to read. She's a great artist, a great sister, and a great disciple of Jesus Christ.

New Music! Finally, right? ;) Well, this week's artist is... the Newsboys! God really used a song of theirs (Stay Strong --the first one on the playlist) to speak to me this past week about keeping focoused on the prize, not giving up, etc. I hope you like the music..feel free to give me feedback.

A few updates: Thanks for praying.. I found my iPod the night before we left--God's great :D

The trip I was talking about still hasn't happened.. once again, stay tuned. ;)

Sadly, Becca's (GiftedGirl) uncle passed away this past wee. Please keep them and their family in prayer. Becca and her whole family travelled over 800 miles to get to be with the rest of the family. Pray for safety as they come back, also.

While in SC, I had an amazing opportunity to go to a ball game at Fluor Field (the one fashioned after Fenway Park) --with suite seats. It was awesome. I'll tell you alllll about it on Monday, if not Sunday. But for now, it's late, and I must go.

I'm working on returning comments still.. If you've not received a comment back, it's only because I'm swamped --rest assured, I'm not upset! lol. ;)
