I stayed up late last night… till around 1:30… working on templates again. Heehee…. Here’s what I finally came up with: http://homeschoolblogger.com/bethanystemplates3. I loved it so much, that, as you can see, I copied the general idea with my new header for this blog. I'm still tweaking it, though. I also, while in the creative mood, created a new icon for others to link to me. It’s on my sidebar, but I can’t get the text box to work right, so if you want/need the code, let me know and I’ll send it to you. :)
Since I stayed up so late, I slept late… till about 10, I think. It was nice, though. Today is our day off. We all went for a late lunch at Jason’s Deli, and I had a turkey and cheese sandwich. It was really good! First time I’ve been there… second for mom and dad. We found out that they have free soft-serve ice-cream. How cool is that? Mom got a cone, but I had cheesecake (not free, sadly ;) instead.
After that we went to Sam’s Club. Can you say boring? I don’t like going to Sam’s very much.. I have to either be 1) “in the mood” or 2) going for a specific purpose with a specific item in mind. Dad likes to go to wander around. Crazy man…and he wanders so slowwww. I eventually had to tell them I was getting worn out from moving too slow ;). I did get a t-shirt and a pair of shorts, though.
As we were leaving Sam’s, Mom asked if I wanted to go to the bookstore or anything; she didn’t want me to feel the outing had been “a waste.” I told her that there weren’t any books or CDs that I knew of that I’d want, but that I might like to at least look, for the fun of it. So we went to the local Christian bookstore, “The Harvest Company.” I managed to find 3 books to buy:
-“Lost in Las Vagas” by Melody Carlson.
Number 5 in the Carter House Girls series. Already finished. The series: not so great…I keep expecting it to get better. This book? Not better. :\
-“Spring of the Candy Apple” by Debbie Viguie
4th and final of the Sweet Seasons series. Haven’t read it yet… didn’t even know it was out. The other three were pretty good. Not overly great.. but nice, light’n’fluffy fiction. Fun and easy to read.
-“It’s a Green Thing” by Melody Carlson
2nd in the DOATG: Maya series. The first was ok… hoping this one will be good. Caitlin was definitely my favorite in the DOATG saga. This was another one I didn’t know was actually released yet. I thought it might be, but wasn’t sure. So I was excited to see it on the shelf.
I’ll let you know what I think of the latter two books once I read them. :).
A few days ago I took a quiz on Facebook, called “Which President are you?” My result: Calvin Coolidge. It was actually pretty cool how accurate it seemed. Here’s what it said: “You are shy and quiet. You are very funny, but not at all the clown. If it would mean you not being in it, you would like to watch a conversation go smoothly. Though sometimes oblivious to what is happening, people look up to you. You are compatible with Ronald Reagan.”
Lastly, I shall leave you all with today’s abortion fact:
A baby can survive birth at 6 months.
A baby can see, hear and taste at
7 months. Abortion is legal in the US
throughout all 9 months of pregnancy.

So long… farewell. All that jazz ;)
PS: If you'd like, I'd be glad to make a custom template for you! Just comment or PM me :)
Today was beautiful… it didn’t actually start raining until around 5:30, and the temp was around 70. It was great! I loved it. Tomorrow is going back down to the 40s, though. I’ll miss the warmth and sunshine :).
I woke up around 7… but was sooo tired. I had stayed up till almost midnight. I managed to fall back asleep, and didn’t wake up until 11… oops. :). Then, of course, it was time for work.
Got to work and it was relatively uneventful, except for when I said “Ma’am,” to someone on the phone who turned out to be a “sir.” Oops, again. :) Thursdays are actually the busiest days of my week, because we get a lot of calls for pickups on Friday. In fact, tomorrow we’ve got 44. I didn’t get home till 6.
Now I’m just relaxing for a little bit. Even though I slept till 11, I’m still tired, lol. Sorry nothing too exciting today :).

Today was beautiful... no rain! YAY! But it's coming back tomorrow... sad. :(
I've just now decided I should probably blog in the mornings rather than evenings.. I've got more to say then ;). For now, enjoy this tag I did on Facebook, then the abortion quote. Tata! :)

Mom found a book for me at the thrift store today. It's by Ryan Dobson, and it's called "Be Intolerant: Because some things are just stupid." I love that title! I can't wait to read it and tell you allll about it. ;)
For now, it's late and I'm tired (of course) so I'm not going to post much else. Tomorrow, maybe?!
Every year, more innocent children
are killed by abortion in the US than
the combined total of Americans
who have died in all wars in our history.

Oh yes, please keep Miss Taffie in your prayers. She's an older lady who goes to our church. Her sister died suddenly from a heart attack this afternoon, and she was unsaved. Thank you.
As I write yet another short, quick, and simple entry, I can’t help but think my life is pretty boring right now…. Not that it makes a difference to me, but you, my readers, are suffering, I daresay. I know my entires over the past day haven’t been interesting…. I’m sorry! I’m going to try to come up with more interesting stuff to write about ;).
Today was (shockingly!) uneventful and pretty much blah. It was cold and rainy and I didn’t feel good, so you do the math ;). I got home from work around 2:30 or 3 I think. And over the course of the afternoon and evening I watched Enchanted. Love that movie! :)
I was going to post a clip, but it won’t let me. So… that’s all for now, I guess… I need to go so I can put dad’s outline on the PowerPoint for church tomorrow, then I’ll be heading to bed :).
Today’s abortion fact:
It’s impossible for you not to know a woman who has had an abortion, because nearly one in four women have had one. -Abort73.com

the statistics at Abort73.com *
Yuck... I've got a cold. I think it's a cold. I have a slight cough hanging on from the last time I was sick, but now I've also got a runny nose, watery eyes, and keep sneezing. Hopefully it'll be gone soon :)
Rainy and cold weather is no fun! The rain is supposed to stick around for several more days, sadly. I'll be glad when the sun is out again :)
Nothing major to report, though. Today was average. or less. ;)
I'll be more likely to post more random stuff and things and ...well, stuff, once I feel a little better and my brain is moving at the proper speed ;).
