Nov. 18, 2008 Babies! The Toggenburgs
Oct. 23, 2008 Presenting Shya's Twins
(Shya pictured two weeks before her delivery.)
Shya delivered two lovely girls on October 19th. We are delighted with them and Shya has begun her milking season well.
It's been a bit confusing having babies in the fall...It's feeling pretty spring like with newborns.
Dinah and Meriam have done excellent and are very, very intergetic and eat extremly well.
We haven't decided who we will be selling, but one of these wonderful does will be ready in 10-14 days to go to her new home.
I'll be getting pictures up soon.
Thanks for reading,

Oct. 8, 2008 Kittens! Kittens! Kittens!

We currently have seven kittens ready for new homes!
Meg and Dixie (mom and adult daughter) had their kitties on the same day in August!
They are all now ready for new homes. All these kitties have been very well loved and are very people friendly. They have made excellent progress on their litterbox training and have been raised indoors.
Please let us know if your interested in one. They are free to good homes.
See http://www.gabrielsbanner.com/10thvirginia/drowsywaters/Kittens.htm For lots of pictures!

Oct. 8, 2008 October Photo Shoot!
More pictures. :)
I hope these turn out a bit better as I'm working on posing properly!

R R Resources Virginia Grace at six months of age.

Goat Palace T Sophie Cornflower at six moths of age.

Goat Palace T Sally Blue Eyes at seven months of age.

Gwen...she wasn't holding still to well so this is the best shot we got. Age three months.

Drowsy Waters Ella at age five/fourth freshening pictured five hours after last milking, 180 days in milk. Still milking 14 lbs a day. I'm hoping to get a good, full picture of her and her udder soon, but so fare the picture shoots haven't been happening at the right times. This picture does not do her justice in the slightest!
She is due with R R Resources Mannasah's kids in the middle of January.

Whisper'n'Pines Shya pictured as a dry 7 year old ready to have babies late October or November.

Bryarose Farms Brieanna pictured as a first freshening two year old five hours from last milking. This is a rather bad shot of Brie's topline, but it shows some of the wonderful doe this gal is!

Cove Orchard Penelope as a dry yearling. Not the best picture of Penny, but it gives you an idea of her potential. She is a real sweet heart. I can't wait until January when she will freshen!
Penny again...loving to be scratched!
Another picture of Sophie! So cute!!!!
Brie looking on...
C.K. Amelia...looking a little massive for only 1 month pregnant. :)
Her and Aravis are due early January along with Ella and Penny.
Thanks for looking!
I've updated everything on the website except our rabbit pages which I will be getting to soon!

Aug. 30, 2008 Test Results
We received our test results back this week from WSU!
All goats were negative to CAE and CL!
Very happy, of course.:)
There has also been two new aditions to the herd. We've decided to go all Toggenburgs and Nubians as fare as milk goats! A thank you to Marie Layman for Bree and Shaya!
Bree is in her first freshening and milking nicely at two years old.
Shaya is seven, dry, and pregnant (hopefully!). She should freshen in time for our bottle baby Boers that we will be getting.:)
Stay on the look out for pictures as soon as I can get them up!
