Nov. 22, 2006 - Tap Water
I am a dance teacher. Sounds weird, cause I'm still, really just, a kid. My teacher bailed and told me to take over. I teach tap and stomp. I'm good, but I could be better. Our group is called Tap Water.
Yesterday, we started our spring show. One of the dances that we are doing is to the song Crazy Times by Jars of Clay.
Here are the lyrics:
CRAZY TIMES
You're cold that way And that's why you say The things that you say You can't attract The things that you lack You're trying in vain Chorus: It seems it's always the crazy times You find you'll wake up and realize It takes more than your saline eyes To make things right You spiral down You've broken your crown You don't feel like a queen You've seen the proof But you're still crying wolf You'll never believe [Chorus] You try to climb a broken ladder Grip the missing rungs And fall down, down, down Seems sometime ago you said This wouldn't last And now you sit here crying Beside your bed You feel left for dead You kneel in the dark... It takes more than your saline eyes To make things right [Chorus]
hopefully, we will have a nice show by spring.
HOPEFULLY.
Oh and....

Tap Water is such an awesome name for a tap dancing group! How did you come up with that?

I asked this question on your other blog, too, but I'll ask it here too: are you going to keep Heroic going? And, if so, what one do you want linked from The Christmas Watch?

Hi guys,
I'm keeping Heroic. Don't worry.
I was sitting around with my mom and sister one day, trying to come up with a name for our group. Out it popped. I think it was my mom's idea. You should come see our big show next spring. I have 3 guys ( well 4 until last lesson when Kody said that he thought his tap shoes made him look silly. That booger.) and 3 girls (not including me.)
Maybe you guys could, like, talk your families into coming to see our show and the Wallowa Lake. It's real close to here. "A nice family camp out." (Have a back up plan too. Just in case your family dosn't fall for the camping idea! )
