Our local crisis pregnancy center has an awesome abstinence program which they take into the public schools. A few months ago the Lord put it on my heart that homeschoolers need to hear this same message of abstinence. So I asked my fellow board members about it and they all loved the idea. So I called up the pregnancy center and got a date set up. Saturday was our first Abstinence Workshop for Homeschoolers. It went very well! I hope to make this a yearly thing at least.

The parents had a separate session at the same time as the teens. We had 10 teens and 8 parents, two of whom were dads.

We had a great group of both parents and teens!
