On Friday, I had to take Maiden for an X-ray of her abdomen to try to determine why she keeps throwing up every 3 days or so. We were doing the car switch thing, and were headed back to take DH back to work. Apparently DH ran a stop sign although he doesn't remember doing it. So we pulled over and started looking for the registration. We could not find it!!! So the policeman went back and talked on his radio for a while. He came back and told us that our tags were expired since '06! I was certain that we had renewed and simply not gotten around to replacing the tags and then lost them. The policeman had told us that if we got pulled over again with the expired tags we could get arrested.
    Needless to say, we went straight back home to look for the registration and tag. We could not find it. So DH decided that we would go to the DMV to get a replacement tag. When we got there, we discovered that the reason we could not find the tag and registration is because we never renewed! We had to pay for 2 years worth of registrations on top of the tickets DH got for running the stop sign and not having a registration.
    Maiden finally did get her X-ray done. The doctor at the X-ray place said that she is clear except for being VERY constipated. I called her doctor and asked if she wanted me to get her on a stool softener. She wants me to have Maiden take Miralax once a day for at least 2 weeks, possibly longer.
    We had left the boys at home with G'ma. Before I was even able to get home, G'ma called to tell me that Knight #1 was sick. He was running a slight temp. Yesterday his temp went up to 102. Then this morning he said that he tried to toot and poop came out instead. He stayed home from church this morning. It seems that just as soon as we start to think we are all well again someone gets sick again.
