I have some catching up to do! We have been busy! Of course, today is Resurrection Sunday. We got up this morning around 5:00 a.m.!!! Crazy as this sounds, we did have a good reason! We went to Sonrise service where G'ma, Knight #1 and Maiden were all 3 baptized in the Gulf of Mexico along with at least 100 others from our church! It was awesome! I couldn't get close enough to get good shots of the actual baptisms.

Knight #1 getting dunked!

Maiden came next!
And finally G'ma. Yes! The water was chilly!

You can see behind our 3 that there is a line of guys paired up. They have to have the associate pastors help with baptizing or it would take forever! I wish I'd have gotten a shot of all the people waiting to be baptized. What a wonderful sight!!! Knight #2 wanted to be baptized too, but I am not sure he really understands yet what it is all about.
After they were baptized we headed back home to shower, change and get ready for Easter Service. The service was held in a local theater rather than our church. Maiden got very upset when the music started because it was SOOO LOUD! That put a real damper on my enjoyment of it. We got through it though and were able to enjoy the rest of the service.
We are now home and waiting for a turkey to finish cooking for Easter Dinner! Mmmmmm! I know most people have ham for Easter, but we bought this bird when it was on sale right after Christmas. It has been hanging out in our freezer since then and this seemed like the perfect time to eat it!
I am in desperate need of a nap so I will have to blog about our past week's activities later.
